Game Description
Player is a detective-adjacent fella navigating a confusing room by moving furnitures around to reach the exit and grab clues while at it.
How does your game tie into the theme?
The first grid in the game area is the "room" where the player actually navigates on. The furnitures in the second grid will reveal the hidden path in the first grid which may not have the same shape as the furniture.

Cool game! Sadly was too late to rate due to holidays. Also struggled a bit with the mechanic, but overall nice idea and cool atmosphere!
Thanks for playing anyways!
I tried so hard to understand the correlation between the bottom and top areas, but alas I'm in the same boat as everyone else. If you update this game with a tutorial level, I would love to see it!
Yep tutorial levels are on my list! Thank you for trying my game!
I like your graphics, even though it's little hard to understand your mechanic in game
Thanks for playing! Reworking the mechanic is the first thing on my list post-jam π
Interesting and unique take on the theme. Pretty challenging as well. Nice job!
If only the rules were explained better it would have been easier π Thanks for playing!
Good job on the game! I imagine the coding posed a pretty interesting challenge! Good solid sfx, music, and graphics!
It was yea, thanks for the kind comment!
This was an interesting idea. I like the concept, but did not understand the pattern behind it.
That's alright! Thanks for playing!
It was a pretty clever game, but yeah, the UI needs some work. You can probably fix most problems by simply coloring the current item's squares with a different color, even when it overlaps with the squares of other items, and the player can figure out for themselves what's happening.
π€ That's good idea, it's a nice angle to approach the main issue players have been experiencing without redesigning the core mechanic.
Really appreciate the feedback, thanks for playing!
That's a really clever idea, and the audio is on point. I agree with the comment about the screens though, it was a little hard for me as well to get the relations of the top and bottom screens, but overall, awesome work!
Thanks for the feedback!
Really good and unique, but also a little hard. I only managed to finish the first level now.
Aha that's more the flaw in the level design rather than player ability I assure you π
Thanks for playing and commenting!
I really enjoyed the audio in this game. Creative idea and well implemented ( I am particularly grateful for the hint option, because I needed it)
That's really good to know. Thanks for playing!
Very original. Well done!
Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed!
Instead of having the two screens, maybe you should have been able to drop the items straight onto the top map. I was struggling to workout the relation between each screen. Great aesthetics and vibes though. Congrats.
Good point, that's something I'll have to think about after voting ends. Glad the aesthetics were well received!
Great feedback, thanks for playing!
the game is very pretty and creative! i really enjoyed playing, tho i personally feel the game is a little too hard, but i might not be so smart lol, antways, keep up the good work! :D
I managed to get 3 stars on all 4 levels but I still don't fully understand the mechanics. I still thought it was a fun puzzle game though, the mechanics partially clicked for me while playing through but an interactive tutorial would've helped me a lot.
I also like the aesthetics of the game. Good job!
Yes I attribute the dodgy core mechanic to lack of forethought and math skills π I'm glad you had fun!
Thanks for playing!
Really like the look and feel of the game! Was also confused on the mechanics a bit lol
Yea it's becoming quite an issue for people to enjoy the game to the point I don't think a lengthy tutorial can even help with π
Great feedback, thanks for playing!
I like both the art and the music, they make me feel like I'm in a lemony snicket novel! The interface/design was not straightforward at all, but it 'clicked' after playing around for a minute. Still confusing because of how the bottom 'input' is correlated to the 'display'. I understand it from a programming perspective but not from a player perspective, if that makes sense. Good work over all :)
Yea I wanted to experiment with making things in a grid look different in a another grid of a different size and this was the result lol the game jam is a great place to test my idea π
I definitely agree on it not making sense to the player now that I've received feedback and there are quite a few fundamental things I need to rework post-jam. Great comment!
Thanks for playing!
Lots of times you donβt find out until you actually make it, but you can be proud of doing that :)
Absolutely beautiful game! I love the audio.
I feel like I'm being dumb, but I also could not really understand how the objects correlate to the map above. I would give the level a try, and it makes no sense and I would follow the hint and it would work. I also probably misunderstood the assignment, as I thought I would make a green path from one door to the other, ignoring clues to atleast get something, and it would not accept it as a solution.
I assure you that you're not dumb XD I think most of it is because the rules were not explained very well :)
You're absolutely right about the seemingly unrelated grids, I think this is a big issue and I'll definitely be revising the math post-jam :)
Great feedback and thanks for playing!
Nice game idea, the art style is great and it's some nice puzzles. However, I really struggled to understand the correlation between the objects below and the room map above. Maybe a very simple tutorial puzzle or some kind of explanation would be a good improvement for an otherwise very solid game - nice work!
Thanks for playing!
You're absolutely right, I didn't realize this until after I had someone else play. Great feedback!
What a cool idea. I like your game :D. At first the game was genuinly very hard for me and i had to check the hint for the first level but then i understood the concepts of rotation and positioning.
Great entry and music :)
Thanks for playing! I realized after having someone else playtest that I really should improve the instructions.
Great feedback!
