Hey man, im doing a youtube video review of the jam and would like to include your game into my 10 favourite games! is it ok if i just credit you as "Blazer" ? :)
Great sound, nice animations, I loved it, it kist ended too fast :) I wanted more challenges, Idea o throwing respawn point was so cool

Holy guacamole, this is great! I love that you've taken the "Dying to progress" a lot of games have and took it to the next level. You're not using dead bodies as platforms, and as such I don't have to repeat massive sections of the game everytime I want to progress, instead I move the orb, and the game dynamically follows me, its really cool!
I can see why the screen stays still, but the screen transition between up and down of some segments can feel a bit off sometimes, but other than that a really great game, I'd love to fight a boss or something with this mechanic, see where it goes? Possibly conveyor belts or something for moving the orb.
Thanks a lot for your input! If I had more time I would definetly add jump pads, something that moves the ball in different ways and probably many more. About the snappy camera I knew it was a lil bit off but always moving vertical camera was even worse for me at least it just didn't click with me so I left this one. I recently came up with a very good solution to that problem which is a camera that smoothly interpolates instead of snapping onto the place it needs to go (but the interpolation only occures when you're close to leaving the screen) but I probably won't be updating the game with it. Im really proud of the mechanic implemented in this game, there's so many possibilities you could potentially go with it. Just like you said. Thanks to all of you people leaving amazing feedback that really taught me what is a good mechanic. I might end up actually adding it to my commericial game im currently working on :)
Awesome game, loved the orb mechanic, controls are pretty tight and the visuals are next level!
Great job!
Man, how in the world did you finish this inside the allotted time?! Awesome game, very well done!
Simple but strong idea for this orb mechanic. I like when the core idea of the game is easy to pickup, in this type of jam! Creative as well, it's the first game i see with this interpretation of the theme. Well done!
Solid, innovative mechanic. I wish that the aiming controls were a bit more free. I did like the different approach to the theme.
When I first saw this game I knew it will be good, and I wasn't disappointed. This game was something else. Everything about it was fantastic. The art is great, the mechanic is really creative and intuitive, the music is really chill and fits the atmosphere. It's outstanding how polished this game is with very little time. If I saw this game outside of the jam I would have probably thought It was a full commercial game. The level design is really clever; not a single level felt unfair. The tutorial is probably the best I've seen, It's easy to understand, interactive, and probably what makes this game so good.
I also loved how if the orb got somewhere impossible to reach it returns to you. A very clever thing to keep in mind so the play doesn't get stuck.
I also really loved the effects put in, the smoke particles coming out from switching directions, as well as the orb trail. Really adds to the wonderful art of this game.
I can definitely see this game turning into a full game in the future (If you plan on expanding it, please inform me!)
This game was really fun until the end, Awesome job!
Nice Game :D cool mechanic good concept to developpe one mechanic and us in the Jam ;-) thx for playing Blender man It was fun watching over your sholder while you did!
Very polished! I'm impressed! The visuals, the tutorial design are super clear and intuitive, and once the mechanic is introduced you good to go! Never seen such a mechanic in a platformer. Where you need to avoid spikes, but also get in touch with them once you set a checkpoint yourself (by throwing a checkpoint ball). For now, the levels are quite easy, but I'm sure that you could experiment and make crazy puzzles with it. Overall, a fun platformer with a twist ;)
Wow, uhh, this game is great! One of the most creative uses of the theme so far, the art is great, and the sounds and music are nice, and i only have 2 complaints. 1, when you die with the orb, it would've been nice to go back to the last place you threw it instead of the start of the level, and 2, i just wish there was more. Alot of the games this jam go for a visual polish, this one is extremely polished gameplay wise, from the character movement, to the need to hold r to reset the orb so that there are no accidents, it's all just great and fun. Amazing game!
