The visuals look cool, but the text took way too long.
It would be nice to be able to skip faster through the texts.
The story was fun though! It matched the theme really well!

Dialogue needed to move faster or be skippable. The changing in genre for each section was interesting from visual novel, to keep away to dodging the falling objects. The movement felt great and smooth for the platforming section just the challenges were reused a tad too much, pit with 2 smiley faces to a platform with a moving flag on it and a flag on top to avoid.
Fun game I enjoyed it.
I don't know why but for me the music came out of one earphone which made it a little unpleasant, might be something to look into post-jam. Unless it as design this way as part of Jimmy's character I wish I could have the text go a little faster. But, interesting take on the jam

Good job! The art looks really nice, the controls also feels good too! A dialog-reading games is not my cup of tea tho so I can't really give feedback on that.
Honestly, I spent the whole intro spamming my keyboard trying to figure out how to skip ahead so I could play and rate properly. I do like the humor but unskippable dialogue that takes ages to actually show up is a hard sell for a game jam because we are trying to rate as many games as possible, and generally a bad idea for any game especially small games where the player just wants to get right into a short fun experience. I definitely like the concept though it seems quite silly and fun :)
Thank you for playing and reviewing my game. To be honest, this game is only about dialogues and this silly story. If I let players skip this dialogues , it would make no sense. Hovewer I do agree, that the text appear slowly. I already got feedback and I will update the game after voting period :)

Well done! Jimmy is pretty frightening, ngl, was expecting him to turn into satan or something similar any moment. Great combination of the "horror" and cuteness of the visuals, adds another layer of "disturbing" to the overall feel. Apart from the text speed other comments mention, I have no criticism. Well done!
Hello, firstly I want to thank everyone for playing and rating my game. It means a lot to me, since I am still learning how to create games.
I know a lot of you have problem with the speed of the text. Thank you for your feedback. I already increase the speed and I will update the game after the voting period. The reason why it's so slow is, that I wanted everyone ( even someone not good at English) to enjoy this game. Also, sometimes it's good to just slow down and enjoy the moment, isn't it? :)

the text moved so slowly that i got a full beard and a family with 4 kids. i have now paid off my mortgage. and am about to retire. otherwise cool game

The visuals of the game are outstanding! Love it!
I enjoyed the humor of the game, such as how the buttons for if you trusted him flipped in the beginning to make you always trust him. It reminds me of that old "don't touch the button" game where you continuously touch the button and it gets upset.
If you wanted to improve, I suggest a way of skipping or at least speeding up the intro cutscene. The text scrolls really slowly and if you touch the flag and have to restart, it feels like it takes a bit to long.
Overall, cute game!
I laughed out loud at that first choice lol, Jimmy kindof scares me, I expected it to turn dark any second. really enjoyed the experience, so strange in a good way. My only feedback is that the text could've appeared a lot faster. Good job!
