It took a while to get used to the controls, but overall I enjoyed the game.

At first I was thinking the music, even if it was good, was missing something. But then you used that to have space for the music to evolve through the game, nice touch!
I also generally enjoyed the gameplay, I found myself leaning on dodging the enemies a bit more than I would have preferred but I guess that's a part of the balancing act of having a buff to the firing rate without making it totally over powered. A bit more variety in weapons, enemy types or obstacles would have been great, but in a jam you never get everything you wish for. Over all a solid jam game, you got a lot done in the time you had available.
I really enjoyed your game. It reminds me of the first jam game I was a part of, but your game loop is more developed and over all more polished. We made a narrative game about a couple facing a storm. https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2958892
If the prices were lower or the ramping up faster it would have kept my interest longer. But the presentation is sweet. I like the juice when hiring the different roles. Only thing I kind of wished for was to be able to mash my keyboard to "code" in stead of pressing the mouse butt. That would have made the immersion better.
