Wish I was a better driver ;) Juicy driving, though not much time to register oncoming cars. Too much text punishment between runs.

But for real great entry ! The only things I would change, would be replacing the freeze effect (when you collect money) with screenshake, and changing the SFX

Thanks! I agree that I need to work on some of the effects, both visual and audio, but given how rushed I was and how little experience I have with making games I'm pleased with how it turned out. Especially the green cars.

Fun game, I like how you get to add to your debt. Makes me want to go "just one more time"
I mean normally you don't want to end up in debt but you do you.
It makes me want to try to earn money to pay down the debt even if it keeps getting harder
Love the game mechanics - the pixelation of everything made the text a bit hard to read sometimes.
I agree. I would've liked to spend more time making the text easier to read, whilst keeping the effect, but sadly wasn't able to due to the time constraints. I'll keep the feedback in mind for any future projects I make with a similar style.

The dialogs are fun and match the jam theme very well. The retro style is a gem! A bit hard to play though, I had no chance paying back the loan ahahah
Really glad you enjoyed it. You're not really supposed to be able to pay back the loan (although there is a screen for if you can) but it was my way of making the game fit the theme.
