Very good concept. As for gameplay there should be more choices for players to make.

Well done slot machine. Some more interaction other than buying the poition or shield would keep me perhaps more engaged.

Thank you! I have so many ideas in my head for a sequel :p

Nice idea, i would have tried to implement some other feature! Well done overall!

Thanks so much! Thanks for playing

I like the concept and the take on  the theme. I wonder how the game could be expanded to play on the risk/reward concept by letting players choose more about how much risk they want to take.

I have so many update ideas :p For example, I’d like to add a Slay the Spire -like map mechanic and actually have an end goal.

Thanks for playing!

Let the wheel keep rolling... FOREVER!!!

I didn't even notice but i was 30 minutes there on a run, it was really fun!

i really like the sounds the different items do when you get them, and the way they are presented in each and every roll it's really cool.

Also, i love me some good ol' LOVE 2D game engine, haven't seen a lot of games made on that engine in the game jam, wish there were more!

:D Thanks so much for playing!

I was playing with my niece for ~30 min and had a good run going. I’m a bit surprised that it’s as balanced as it is :p

Interesting Idea.
The game could use some more mechanics to keep the player engaged. past 1 or 2 try it gets repetitive.
Also not a big fan of mixing vectorial & pixel art. you sould stick to one or the other.
Good job on completing a game :)

Thanks for playing! It’s true, I think more depth is needed.

The idea is quite nice! But would be nice with a little bit more mechanism. I love slot machine hehe

Fit the theme pretty well and was an interesting twist on the slot machine genre. I like that it's more than just spin and get money, there's a lot more to it and I find that interesting.

Interesting take on the theme. For some reason when the game opened I could only see the top left quarter of the screen and couldn't move the window. So I just assumed stuff and went on. Those types of games aren't exactly my cup of tea but I did enjoy what I saw. Simple game, nice juice.

There is some clipping in the cashing sound effect. I hear it all the time, so it bothers me some. Maybe it has to do with how the engine handles stopping looping sounds? If so, you could maybe loop the sound manually in some editor and play the while thing once in the engine. All in all the SFX are very sharp and loud. Some volume controls would have been good.

I like it that there are instructions within the game, makes it easy to play.

It's a cool game idea. I think the setting (background, icons and ambient sounds) fits the story well.

I think there is maybe some lack of meaningful choices, which is kind of the case in general for slot machines I realize while typing :D

Impressive submission anyway, it's very cool when people come up with these, for me at least, unfamiliar types of games during jams!

Novel idea for using a slot machine as your main mechanic. A really interesting take. Nice sound effects when playing making it addictive to just keep rolling and the art is lovely. Would have liked if there was a bit more to do with your coins.

Looks good, sounds great, feels somewhat juicy. This game would be awesome if I had a gambling addiction.
