I like this game. Nice pixel art, clean UI, simple. Well done.
I do have a problem with the pace and choices you made after each level.
It felt not good in my eye to see the screen shut and open again after each time. It also really slowed the game for me. I want to get in to a flow state and it slows me down. The game wouldn't be different without the the screen shutting down for a few seconds.
Other than that, all good.

Really nice game! I think a more extensive tutorial/instructions would be effective as the gameplay wasn't super intuitive for me. Art and sounds are great! Nice job!

I really love this. So simple yet so satisfying as well. The visuals are just really great as well. The idea is pretty cool and you've executed it beautifully. I got uptil the 7th difficulty level and I'll definitely be playing this more. Really love this man. Awesome job.
You could easily put this on mobile as well. Just a thought really lol

At first I did not understand how to play it, I reread the tutorial and still did not understand.
When it became clear at what moment to press, the question remained, why does the character need the upper sword, if in any case you win with the lower one.
When I finally realized what the idea was, I found it very interesting. Really clever intrapritation on the topic, and the atmosphere and visuals are beyond praise. But it lacks intuitive controls.

One thing I would change is the tutorial, I wish it explained the honor system a little more, I was slightly confused on what the purpose of honor was and how to get honor but overtime I figured it out. Well done

Some criticism first, I didn't fully understand the mechanics and the main menu kinda felt like a big wall of text.
Now the good stuff: I really like the visuals of the game, good pixel art done well. The sound design was good in the game even though the sounds were simple. The idea was creative, even though it got a bit repetitive at some point. Really awesome stuff!

Really nice visuals and animations (including scene transitions!) I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I just couldn't seem to get the hang of timing that much (I found it really difficult), maybe some sort of indicator for when they're going to strike would help. That's just personal preference. Overall, looks amazing!

Maybe I'm missing something - as long as I time it right if I press DOWN for every enemy I'll make it to max difficulty? Feels a little *too* simple.
