I liked a lot!

It would be great if the letters that start a word were highlighted.

I'm terrible at spelling but I love the vibes ^^

It was a little hard to control (like others mentioned) but I didn't mind it that much.

+ Nice to play a chilled game!
+ Interesting take on the theme
+ Fun to play
+ Liked the level design
+ Appreciated the ability to change background colour!

- Controls were a little imprecise, I found myself overshooting letters or collecting the wrong ones
- Whilst I appreciate the letters occasionally rearranging to help access, the last letter was always a pain to collect as it moves too often

I like the aesthetic of this game. The controls are a little tough to handle, I often found myself overshooting letters because I held the key down for too long. Despite that, I enjoyed the game. Nice work!

Loved the idea, this is a unique take on the theme! One piece of feedback is that movement should be a bit faster but overall nice work!

Cool idea for the jam theme. The movement is a little unconfortable, it also was a little hard for me (not native speaker), a little hint will be useful

Feel free to check out my game, it will mean a lot to me

I'm not much for spelling games as I suck at it, but the movement of the player is soooo annoying I keep running into letters because I don't want because I go one over or under forward. I would make it more snake like where its constant and wouldn't make the movement grid based so its more snappy. Just make the movement better and you got a decent spelling game.

Very nice game. In Amiga times this could have been a hit ;)

I like the idea and the athmosphere created by the soundeffects and music. After all one of the better games I played so far.

Critic:  I would liked to have more control. I get the idea behind it, so you can just move exactly in the grid. But it doesn't feel well to stop pressign the button and the moth keeps flying.

Developer

Thanks for trying our game.  We experimented with ways to adopt the "there and back" theme.   But they detracted from the gameplay, so were left out of the final version.

The idea is really creative, but the movement really killed it for me. still a great game!

any chance you can check out my jam game? thanks!

very unique idea! collecting letters was a great idea! Not sure how it relates to "there and back" though. Movement was a little tricky, but otherwise great game!

Very nice style! love the simplicity. I had a bit of trouble with the movement but other than that its a really good game. Great work!

It would mean a lot if you could check out my Jam submission if you get the chance. Thanks!

When I played the game, I'm currently feeling nostalgia of old 8 bit retro games.
