I really like the art style of this game. The gameplay was a lot of fun too and the controls were kept nice and simple. Overall excellent work on this!
thank you! i really appreciate your feedback.
I absolutely love the style this game brings. The controls add just enough challenge to make it fun without making it painfully difficult. I only wish there was a bit more explanation about what was going on with like the rings and stuff.
thank you so much for the kind words! i completely agree, and that’ll be one of the first new features i add.
Wow. I love the design, that spear is so funny. Well done
thank you! i’m glad you enjoyed it.
Nice music and overall feel. The rewind was unexpected and cool! Some in-game instruction would have been nice.
I agree, I would have liked to put some hints in-game as to what you’re meant to do. I’m glad you liked it!
I really liked the music and the revers was really trippy, the one thing that I would change would be to not have quite so long of a revers, it just got a bit boring after a while. I also felt the game was a bit easy but its a game jam so I get it. I really thought that the game was polished and was well thought out. I really liked all of the effects!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I completely agree that the reversing takes too long, unfortunately the submissions closed right before I was able to upload a new build with the a time limit on the animation. It is definitely too easy as well, I was having trouble thinking of ways to make the hazards harder to avoid. Perhaps spawning several of them at once and having them move around would be a better challenge. Thanks again for the comment!
too bad, but I cant wait to see the new build once the jam is over. Its interesting, normally people have trouble with making the game too hard instead of too easy. Maybe you could have like big discs with hoes in them that you have to pass trough. also everything that you collect could slow you down a lot more,
All good ideas, thanks! And, yeah, I usually struggle with the opposite problem as well. Something about this game just lent itself to being really easy this time. :D
simple and fun! great music (also in reverse!). it's like i'm going to make a large barbeque with the stuff i collect :))
great job!
It is a bit like assembling a weird barbeque skewer. :D Glad you enjoyed the music and the reverse effect, it’s the first time I’ve tried to make my own music for a game. Thank you for the kind words!
Interesting take on the theme! The controls feel nice and smooth, I'd maybe speed up the return phase though.
Yeah, I was literally half way through exporting a new build when the submissions closed. I had implemented a maximum time on the return phase, but unfortunately left it a little too late. Ah well, jam game. :) Thanks for the kind words!
This game’s interesting. Visuals and sounds were cool, although I had no idea what to do at first.
Thanks for the comment! I agree it’s a little mysterious at the moment. I wanted to put in some subtle nudges in-game as to what was going on, but unfortunately ran out of time. I’m glad you found it enjoyable. :)
By the way, if you had the time then can you play my game? I’d really appreciate it :D
