Good job! It's clear you put a lot of effort into this. It's a really great start to a fleshed out game if you wanted to keep pushing it. :)

pretty cool, well polished, but the brick pattern is driving me absolutely insane

Good  job on getting everything including assets ready in 72 hours. The movement needs a little bit of polish. The dash seemed to skip the player ahead and the melee seems overpowered when you can get it.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! I didn't have time to really balance the melee at the end. I was going for a Doom (2016) style of gameplay that makes you want to run towards enemies. But that was the vibe I wanted, I know it wasn't exactly that in execution.

Cool game. Gameplay needs more feedback i feel, maybe more polish to show player decisions have power. sounds vfx etc. simple things can really improve the gameplay. The bullet style is sus :D. whats with the wiggling..lol

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I agree sounds and better vfx would help out for sure. Also with the bullets I wanted them to have some sort of movement to them, like maybe a cartoony, smokey tracer round? Idk, I kinda wished I picked a different style/color now that I look back on it lol

Good shooting game!

nice little bullet hell. Player feels pretty slippery tough

Developer

Thanks! Yeah the player controller could use some work, I'm hoping to get the movement to be a bit more responsive after the jam.

The visuals and sound could use a bit more polish, but it’s clear that a lot of effort went into creating the mechanics and assets — really impressive work!

I wasn’t entirely sure about the bullet trails that wiggle around — maybe it’s just me being a bit picky, but it didn’t quite click for me. Also, I noticed a small bug where pressing Q repeatedly might cause you to fall through the map.

The mechanics could use some fine-tuning, but overall the game has great potential. Keep up the great work and keep pushing forward — you’re definitely on the right track!

Always fun to play a shooter like this. Very impressive to make all the assets in the short time. I really wish I coulda killed the small ball things, they kept messing me up lol

Nice game! it is adictive to see where you can get hehe. The only thing to mention, is that the game scales up from 0 to 1000 in like a minute, which din't allow me to get to see all the content (I think)

Really nice game! Could use a bit more polish and of course sounds and with some more visual feedback, all that and you have a really nice prototype for a top down shooter. The chaos theme was implemented really nicely.

Nice entry! A great interpretation of theme, this definitely gets chaotic fast! Overall, a really fun top-down shooter. The squiggly bullets were really interesting. Maybe if you shoot while stationary the bullets don't squiggle as much versus when you're moving? Just a thought. It really got my gears turning.  A bit more polish in terms of the feedback, animations, hit FX, sound FX, etc. would really improve the overall experience, but I think you nailed the theme and have a nice prototype for future iterations.
