i am probably just gonna make an upgrade tree like most incremental games, it makes the most sense for balancing and unlocking new mechanics to the player

thank you for the suggestions. may i ask why do you want detonator to be a ui button, and what is the auto-mining tool?

thank you, ill fix it in the next version

ill add it, thank you

do you like destroying the whole quarry with dynamite in 1 go? im asking for the future update

idk how did you make this, you must've been working on this game for 72 hours straight since the jam started cause i cant see any other explanation. this is very polished, and audio is top notch(no volume slider tho) art is pretty, especially ui. But not much of a chain reaction, and i dont understand what am i doing and what i need to do at all. I just see that this is very ambitious and good quality, the core of gameplay seems to be there, however nothing is done to make sure player understands what is happening

thank you for good feedback

cool core mechanic idea, but i have no influence over where the chain is going to go, and i dont understand how it chains, there was a lot of moments where i felt like the chain should chain a lot more, but didnt. Starts to lag when there is a lot of enemies. Too loud, and the game freezes when chain is shot. I dont think this core mechanic can stand on its own. It could be a cool weapon for vampire-like game

yeah i did that, but what i meant was i cant quickly maneuver while also shooting, since i need to do both with a mouse

so first of all, you can make the web build in unity be 720p default, and it would make the page much more appealing instantly, and with this big of en embed, i cant scroll when the game is on my screen
the shooting sfx starts too sudden and noisy, and if you make a single shot it doesnt sound complete
its really hard to take combat encounters, when character takes a second to start going in a new direction, well and obviously u cant move the character and shoot at the same time and thats awful
in the very first part of the game where player needs to find the console, u could block out parts of the ship or be more direct on where the player needs to go, cause i was wandering around for like 2 minutes
combat encounter are not engaging at all, first because there is no movement involved, each soldier has only 1 live so room for mistakes, but with a lot of soldiers could be good, infinite magazine, and too wide spray pattern that its unsatisfying to shoot.
honestly the idea is just not it, sci fi aesthetics are too niche, the visuals here is just assets, tho they look good enough when put together, the background of space is bad and doesnt fit, the core gameplay itself is too generic on its own, just guys walk around and shoot robots and wander around the ship. I hated that i was forced to wander around the ship 80% of the game, walking is not satisfying and boring without any encounters . I think this could be executed better, but it wouldnt make gameplay better. You would need to pair this with at least something, like roguelike or rpg elements, entertaining story, stunning art and sound, this gameplay is not good on its own

i love the parallax effect and the effect of how debris appears. sounds are also great and kinda satisfying. however not much of a chain reaction, and it was hard to me to understand how my actions influence anything, would be great to see some like popups after i make a decision on how it affected market etc. Also didnt get at all what other countries are for, only 2 times i china and poland requested help, but idk what it even influences. Well and the lack of variety in events is really preventing this idea to shine

ok but rate the game then and we r good

well made, good polish but really lacks a volume control. if you add sounds to your game, you must implement at least some form of control over its volume. art is good, cant really point out anything bad about it. Your puzzle design i think is good, but imo the idea itself is weak. But it is hard to make a good puzzle game, so dont worry about, just go on and make another game, you are capable of making a quality game, just make more games in different genres try to find what you like to make + what people like

(1 edit)

Thank you for the suggestion! Im already working on making the next update, and i will probably add something similar to this. Could you please Rate the game or add it to your collection, it really helps

sadly too buggy to play, but i see the vision. I think puzzles dont suit this core mechanic of chaining spells.

ooh thank you so much for the suggestions

yeah i hate people glazing my game, there are people who glaze litterally every submission, making a point of they dont want them to drop game dev or something, but if they dont know that their game is bad, they will continue making bad games, until they understand they need to do better

really well made, but got stuck on level with crates and fire, and when i understood what to do, couldnt complete it since i cant restart the level

really well made, art audio and polish are great, but i think puzzles are boring, too easy

thank you

couldnt complete levels 16 and 17, puzzles are kinda cool, cant really point out something bad

probably the best one ive played this jam, it is really well made, and audio is top tier, the core mechanic is hella cool, but i do not understand what ingredients do, i just insta drop them all in the pot and it helps but i dont know how.

i actually thought about it and implemented it into the game, but it wasnt nearly as satisfying

didnt understand that i cant upgrade other nodes for quite a bit, looks good but lacks variety right now

really enjoy the incremental part, growing is satisfying, but nothing really more, no chain reaction too

sorry, not much of a game, audio is annoying and there is no way to make it quiter so i had to turn it off

the shader on the dog is really cool, but there is no chain reaction, it also spook me one time

thank you, good feedback

thanks

true

if you are using unity its probably something related to fixedupdate on your camera or character, i dont know since ive never really made a character, but look into it

really well polished, tho i think everything its tilted too much, to the point where its hard to see which direction the arrow is pointing.

really well polished and audio is great. Enjoyed the puzzles too, tho got stuck on 7/20

satisfying but nothing more than that really, tho art is great

music is good, screen gets blurry when the character is moving and the cam is following him

really well made, but the idea is bad, i dont really understand what i am even supposed to do, what is the win and lose condition, at least some clearance would make this game miles better

you are good, dont worry so much about, just go on and make better games

has potential, but too raw as of now, i dont understand how the deckbuilding of this game works. like i buy chains and what, do they get added to my deck, and i randomly get them? if so it would be good to see my whole deck, and influence it, as of remove some chains at least. Could be cool to see what your next chains you get are gonna be. Overall good

really nice art, no game so no game

dialogues are boring, there is too much of them, combat is spamming enter, and when dungeon crawling i move too fast and cant understand whats happening
