- The concept of fusing rhythm with horror is an immensely entertaining idea, and the concept also shows promise by having some hack and slash elements. Really smooth and well-done for a jam game, and the slowly increasing difficulty made it a genuine challenge! Only bit of feedback is by the time it gets very fast, it’s impossible to recover – a grace period for misses may keep the pace going!

I really enjoyed the gameplay, there is a special place in my heart for these type of games, i think its kind of a bummer that i dont really get to look at the cool monster art, while im focusing on those arrows xD
My girlfriend said the same! She wanted to look at the dance moves instead of playing! 🤣

I survived for 31 seconds, but it was a fun 31 seconds, I kept trying to press the direction of the nearest monster, that didn't always go the way I thought it would.

Great intro sequence (although the text wrap seemed to glitch out sometimes)!
The DDR style gameplay was well done with great aesthetic feedback, with the blood particles being really well done and the pixel assets really having some personality.

Idk if this is me but the controls are pretty lagging
Could be the WebGL build. Seems to lag on some systems. The downloadable might be better.

Fun game to just play repeatedly listening to the great music in it, and trying to survive. Really like the big explosion that happens nice touch.
Haha I suck so bad, but the need to get into those fast beats is just immense. Very well done, it's satisfying rhythm game with some comedic undertones :D Small but I definitely could see myself playing it here and there casually. Oh and the music was banging.

Love! Rhythm games are fantastic. I love the theming, the name being a play on words, and the vibe with music. The only issue was that the browser version didn't work well, so I downloaded it. The controls are a bit confusing. The keyboard works to an extent, but I had to use my mouse to get the game to start after the opening cutscene. I would LOVE to see some funky backgrounds and theming change as you get a higher score. Ultimately, it's a groovy idea.
Would love to see what you make next or even collab on something though, amazing work!

Great feedback! I only tested the WebGL build on my computer so it likely has some issues on other systems or browsers. I'll try to tighten up the controls in a future build too. Thanks for taking the time to play!!!
It's really fun! I love the aesthetics and the slice sound effect is extremely satisfying. The song is really good as well. It does seem quite hard, but we like it that way. :)

Loved it! Very straightforward but very engaging. I thought the difficulty was maybe a little bit harsh. I think I missed two notes t hen just died. Perhaps a little bit mean lmao. I also think that the audio wasn't super lined up with the notes which threw me off a little, that's super hard to get perfect for a jam though. Overall it was a genuinely really fun game and the audio was perfect. Nice submission!
Great feedback! I agree that it might be a little on the "too hard" side (I should probably give the player more HP). And, yeah, I didn't have time to line up the notes so it does make getting the rhythm a little harder. Hopefully I can make some tweaks in a future build to make these points better! I like what I've seen but I'm pretty bad at ryhthm games haha. Still, it seems like a good one and the buttons presses seem to be timed properly. I'd probably get a lot out of this if I were better at playing this type of game
