  • Good stealth platformer! The sprites and limited pallet violet and blue graphics are quite charming and work very well. I like the idea of enemy patrol patterns and learning to adapt to their movement to stealthily progress. A fantastic first project and I'm very confident you'll iron out the kinks as you go along!

Great little entry into the Jam! I definitely had fun playing through but did get frustrated at times -- not due to the sniper, just some weird bugs.

Some notes after playing:

  • There were times where I died inside of the hiding box but didn't know until I got out. It seems like the bullets still effect the player for a second even if they are hidden? I am not sure, but it happened a few times.
  • One time I did restart and my character didn't spawn into the game -- really not sure what happened cause it only happened the one time.
  • The sniper wasn't so much of an issue, but he is just far enough out of sight to where it is rather hard for the player to know when he is in his sleep cycle. In the same area, I did actually get stuck on the house side of the door and didn't have any way to get past which resulted in the sniper waking up and killing me. Not sure what's happening there but the player does get stuck sometimes

What I liked:

  • The art style is awesome! Absolutely beautiful pixel art and the color choice is phenomenal. Great job :D
  • I personally didn't have an issue with the controls and actually kind of liked them. They were simple, straightforward, and the fact that you have little hints in the game for what you can do telegraphs what the player should do.
  • The music was a lot of fun :) was jamming out a few times

OMG that was so good – graphics, music, effects, gameplay. EVERYTHING!! I enjoyed that so much! It has a few problems with controls, but I think that’s because of the browser version. I had a great experience!

One of the best visuals in this jam so far, really liked the palette and artstyle - animations were great too. The music fits really well. The amount of consumed people could have some impact - speed, jump, etc. Hard and fun game, nice submit! gg

Looks awesome and sounds awesome. Felt like the difficulty was maybe a little high. Overall really cool and super impressive for someone who's just starting to learn a new engine? Fantastic work!

Thank you really, I think because it's my first game, I ended up getting carried away and looking for an idea that was too complex for a beginner. Tip: The Sniper sleeps for a few seconds, run under the platform and wait for him to fall asleep again.

Yes, I did it all by myself, in fact I'm just a Design, I learned how to use Gdevelop this month.

Yep the visual style here is top tier. It's very simplistic palette but still is easy to read and surprisingly varied. And yes, the sniper is hard, maybe a bit too hard? I dunno, like the first shooter I found easy to dodge just by jumping a bit around them so they get confused and stop shooting at me, so maybe compared to that the sniper was kinda hard ^^; 

Well overall still, it was nice play and had fun even though I died a lot lol. Good work.
