i loved the perspective change, it really changed the tone of everything
I downloaded the first version almost two years ago, but it sat there, in my laptop, waiting for a chance to play. Searching through my files, just today, I stumbled upon it- and it was the most nostalgic, gothic, sad and yet romantic experience I ever saw in a game. I adored every second of it, from the haunting art, to the poetic writing that reminded me of Oscar Wilde (and that Sam reminded me of Basil Hallward, with obvious reasons why), and how beautiful and fitting the soundtrack was. After finishing, I rushed to the page to rate it; only to find the complete edition I had no idea about.
Nontheless, I played that version too, and, how did something so perfect become even more good? I gasped at Marie's point of view, and almost cried at the choice to embrace him.
Gorgeous. Sad. Rotting and putrid. 10/10, absolute perfection.
