This was fantastic; the art was terrific, the sound was eerie, the slow progression of the house decay and the eye peeking at me the entire time were all fantastic. My only critique, and it's barely a critique would be the inability to go back the way you came. Still, I can see that's probably because the deterioration depended on your continuing to go right. It cracked me up because it made me think of Zoolander's, "I'm not an ambi-turner; I can't turn left, okay!"

Ah, thank you! There is an option to fast forward; you just press space while the text is typing! I should have put that in the instructions. I did notice some tags appearing; I'll have to figure out how to stop that. It's my first time using Inky, and I'm not a programmer so was a bit of a tough one to wrastle. I will definitely be finishing off the sound and art once voting is over.
Love! Rhythm games are fantastic. I love the theming, the name being a play on words, and the vibe with music. The only issue was that the browser version didn't work well, so I downloaded it. The controls are a bit confusing. The keyboard works to an extent, but I had to use my mouse to get the game to start after the opening cutscene. I would LOVE to see some funky backgrounds and theming change as you get a higher score. Ultimately, it's a groovy idea.
I had some issues with the ingredients not moving with the plate; when I tried to move a plate because there was too much to organise, I dragged it into the pink sauce bottle, and the bottle disappeared completely and turned into a pink splat sprite! I also really wish I could make the dialogue type faster. I love the original art assets and am a big fan of cooking management games; I think it's really fun that you combined horror with this concept.
I like that you worked on your art assets yourself. In the future, I would recommend putting your action buttons closer to each other. You want to put them close to where the hand is so people don't have to stretch their fingers too much. Using two hands is fine, but even then, the buttons weren't super clear and the description of what controls did what at the start disappeared a bit too fast for me to read. Overall a great start on your first ever game!
I kept going left but eventually got attacked by a rat and couldn't do anything except go back to the start, at which point none of the options worked. I also found a rusted pipe but couldn't grab it, which seemed counterintuitive. I love pick-a-path games, but having the directions typed makes it a bit frustrating.
I found the building collisions a tad confusing, but I love the concept. The boss dude was super cool to see, and I love that some of the upgrades reflect on your car. I also really like the ground skidding type effect when you make a quick turn. The amount of enemies was doing my laptop in a little but that might just be a hardware issue.
