Really awesome entry! I was cracking up once I figured out what was going on -- brought me back to my school days :P

Some notes after playing:

• Definitely would have liked some sort of indicator or color change on the current letter because my brain went full dyslexic mode and I kept losing track of where I was -- probably more of a me problem though lol
• I think a small scaling of the difficulty/combo length would have been good at least for ramping up to the boss. All creatures felt relatively samey in terms of difficulty/combo length
• Would have liked some more SFX to telegraph the visual queues 

What I liked:

• The whole concept of this game is absolutely hilarious but so real that it got me scared to death! Absolutely loved it.
• The music was an absolute bop and I love the detail of the music cutting out when you switch over to working on your paper -- so funny
• Clippy makes an appearance in the game 11/10

Haha this is a hilarious entry. The funniest thing to me was the audio cutting out and back in after mom left, getting back to the epic stuff. I came close to winning, I think, but  don't have the hand-eye coordination I used to. I think I may have had an easier time if the instructions were arrow keys rather than the letters, as I found myself having to think of the letters instead of directional inputs. I think with a few more SFX you could consider this absolutely complete: door opening, door closing, maybe a few concerned mom questions, angry mom noise for game over. Great work this was really fun :)

Hahaha nice game, your mom finding out you play instead of doing homework is truely horror!

This game has such a funny concept, and it was done well. The boss music goes hard too, 10/10

A fun little game!

Agree with some of the other comments about audio feedback for the mom entering and the combos, but otherwise very smooth gameplay.

Nice idea. Maybe you could implement an indicator for where are you in the combo - or is it intended to be a bit harder? Nice music and visuals, GG! Maybe it was a bit less horror than other submissions, but was fun!

Fun little game! I think it would've been nice if there was a warning sound for when your mom was going to enter. Nice job!

I'm terrible at these types of games so ultimately I couldn't beat it but I love the concept!

This reminds me of the time when I was in middle school and would rather play games on my computer rather than do my homework. So whenever my parents walked in, I would switch back to my work before they notice me. 

Anyways, while the game was kind of hard at first (clicking on the screen and typing something else other than WASD), I got used to the controls fairly quickly and beat it after 10+ tries. 

Really fun but you should put a PTSD trigger warning lol, good job on the game!

This was fun!!  I love different little windows. I'm awful at doing combos but I was thoroughly entertained
