This was sick as hell! (positive connotations) I really loved the style you went with here. Great atmosphere and storytelling. Loved it through and through! To add one thing though, you should add some more to your cover for the game! The game cover attracts people the most at first and it isn't doing this amazing game justice!! Great game!

Very stylish entry. Really liked the backgrounds and the color pallette choices. It's very well written and the narrative choices did a good job of expressing the bland monotony of the protag's existence, even when there was only one option. I found myself wishing the sphere could have been used a little more when making decisions. I would welcome the option to fast forward through text as I'm a bit of a speedreader, and the lack of audio doesn't fill the time spent waiting for text to finish. You're probably aware but occasionally, it seemed some of your tagging appeared in the text before the closing tag arrived, I spotted a handful of "<br"s along the way. I really liked the premise overall and you did a good job at engaging the narrative, nice work!
Ah, thank you! There is an option to fast forward; you just press space while the text is typing! I should have put that in the instructions. I did notice some tags appearing; I'll have to figure out how to stop that. It's my first time using Inky, and I'm not a programmer so was a bit of a tough one to wrastle. I will definitely be finishing off the sound and art once voting is over.
I really liked the developing story and the pixel backgrounds, also screw Gwen. I guess the only thing is I wish there was some sound. Got past the hitchhiker and stopped where it said "You're alright" don't know if it stopped or if I got a quick ending by being overly cautious.
Loved it! But I confess that I just had to tell off poor Gwen. Terrific storytelling. This is honestly the most engaging and well constructed writing I've seen in the jam so far (and no small feat to write all that content in a week). Oh, and the visual style reminded me a little of an old Sierra Online game. Really terrific work!!
I had to stop uppon letting the hitchhiker hop on my car as well :(
I'm usually not so much into text games but this one really got me in. It's a shame it got stuck, maybe I'll give it this another try later, if you have the chance to fix it ^^
I like that you can play with the sphere. I'm a big fan of fidget toys haha! Nice entry, well done!
I liked the atmosphere a lot and the story was interesting, loved where it was going. Unfortunately, I think I ran into a bug(?) where the game just stops, leaving only the sphere floating with the current scene title. It was just after I let in the person on the road into my car. Great submission otherwise!
Hey! You should update and set what platform it is (I checked the zip so I know it is Windows) but did not know before and missing platform makes the game not show up if you sort submissions by platform. No access to Windows at the moment, but looks interesting, so will have a go when I have.
