Very creepy, great atmosphere giving me those blaire witch vibes. Sound design was also very effective. Even though it wasn't too clear what I was supposed to do.

The graphics are very well presented. The sound design is fairly well done but the jumpscare and tensions musics quickly overstay their welcome and become less effective over time, or maybe its because spiders typically aren't that scary to me ^_^ I didn't understand my goal either and found myself feeling directionless, and it seemed somewhat impossible to find all of the orbs without dying. The level design is neat but I felt like I wasn't guided at all, and that there weren't enough significant landmarks throughout the level to really keep track of where I was. If you're going for the 'you found a video tape' vibes, it might be worth exploring some different display options (REC. hud, soft NV filter, etc) because it didn't give me those vibes at all outside of the grainy overlay. All together this is pretty dang cool and managed to spook me a bit, but quickly lots its spooky factor with repeated endeavors. Nice work!
Scary game. Going into to the forest is not an option lol. I'm not sure how to avoid the monster even when crouched. The shaders and stuff I think is the best.
The vhs effect and graphics are incredible. Very atmospheric! Well done :)
the sound design is really good, it's always unnerving hearing what's chasing you even when you cant see it. the camera was a little finnicky for me, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. i like the spider monsters a lot! are they based off of ogre spiders?
I didn't undestood at all the objective of the game, I think it would need a facelift in terms of design. Anyway the aesthetics and the jumpscares sound timing are good enough to project fear in people. Good job!
The game has scared me, however I have to say that I have not fully understood the objective or the function of the points I find. I found it a bit difficult, they killed me all the time. However, I found the aesthetics and vibe of the game to be very suitable for being scary. Super cool!
That was scary ! don’t play this at night in a dark room (I did), now I am hearing spiders in my house (I know there are some !) I had the same idea with the only flashlight as light source, it so stressful especially when it flicks. I just had an issue with the some spider getting in the way so I know I am about to loose 😅 I would appreciate some jumpscares rather than just fleeing encountered monsters. It is hard to know what to do expect avoiding creatures. Still a nice game !
This is probably the one that scared my the most so far! EEEEEEK. I still feel like spiders are crawling all over me! One of the best unreal optimisation of level design I saw in the jam, it was working beautifully.
In term of optimisation I liked that despite the scale of the environment it was keeping a high FPS and never lagging. In term of design I like the fact that the scene spreaded to multiple vertical level and there were lot's of "secret" passages, places were to crawl, things to collect. No I didn't manage to finish Slender mens always get to me, soon or later.
Thanks for your comment! We’re going to preserve the strong points and modify the weak ones to make the game more pleasant to finish and therefore less frustrating to play.
We’re glad to see that you didn’t have any lag problems, but we’ve had some feedback about frame rates, so we’re working on that too.
We think the experience will be better if you come back to test after the update.
I love found footage horror, so this really appealed to me off the bat, and I wasn't disappointed! I got spooked for sure - the filter and lighting make for a very unsettling game.
Oh hell, my heart isn't ready for this. Thank you for raising my heart rate friend. Loved the horror of this game.
First of all, the graphical quality and the camera filter is on point. Because I have arachnaphobia I couldn't finish the game. I didn't even have the intelligence to search around for an exit my friend. But this means that you managed to nail that horror aspect of the game. I myself is not a brave player, normally I can't play horror games, but I develop them because I don't need to play them :D
Like I said, that horror element is on point and the sound design is perfect. I encourage you to improve this game friend, I'll look forward to it. I won't be able to play it myself but I have a friend can play these type of games and finishes them, I'll watch him play for sure :D
Absolutely love the style, and this scared the hell out of me. Great job!
Really liked the sound design and the "grainy footage" filter, it made for a great horror experience that made me hesitate to press forward. Great job capturing that vibe and jump scaring me!
Running, screaming, spider fitness with great soundtrack and great use of limited visibility.
It is very very laggy to play, almost slideshow-esk, The atmosphere was great tho, loved the vibes.
God i hate spiders xD
That said, it gives me a lot of those good old scp vibes and I especially liked that start sequence paired with the vhs filter.
Gameplay wise I liked the possibilty of avoiding the enemies by dodging in and out of the tunnels even if i was never quiet sure if they'd follow me inside.
Really nice environment and effects. had a lag here and there but nothing major on my end. Overall, really good.
Idk what in this game make my laptop show 5 fps, that's not the 1st game with vhs effect that is lagging so i suppose it's enginge? Anyway the atmosphere very spooky and I pooped myself on the spider
