Such a great platformer, and core mechanic to use a light to reveal a path, visuals looks insanely good!

The light mechanic is a really unique idea and led to some interesting platform design. I do think the player movement can be made to feel a little smoother with a slight acceleration at the start and end. And I recommend giving a little more space in the timing for some of the jumps where the platform you are jumping to contains an enemy. But overall, really impressive work!
This gave me Limbo vibes :) Very good mechanics and cool ideas. Jumping is a bit floaty but whatever :)
i know everyone else has already said it but i love the light mechanic! some of the higher jumps are more frustrating than they are fun to figure out, but i really enjoyed the gameplay overall
As others have said, very cool light mechanics. Was glad to see the way the lanterns worked with the mechanics, as well as providing helpful checkpoints. I'm not a very good platformer so I did find the later levels very hard. One suggestion I have is maybe allowing the Up arrow or W to use as a jump button as well. The most inconvenient thing I found was trying to quickly use the mouse in between jumps, until I started using a/d + space with my thumb, which I still found a little cumbersome. Some of the enemy triggers felt a little wider than their sprites which also led to some frustration. Despite my complaints, this is a very cool entry and a great usage of the mechanics. Nice work!
Cute platformer! The light companion is such a good idea. I feel like it is a little bit hard from time to times, and walls feel too high. Double jump did sometimes not work, but i think this has potential to be something big in the future, keep working on it
Had to stop playing because my PC was screaming for some unknown reason, but I got enough of an idea.
Light mechanic was cool.
The limited story I got to read seemed really interesting and well written, along with the light friend communicating with you.
Art was good.
The light companion is such a cool mechanic, the story got me invested into the world pretty quickly too.
I thought the light mechanic was really cool, it was too difficult for me to finish but i really enjoyed the easier sections!
Come here my little lighty friend. A really nice twist on a classic platform loop. I liked the way it changed up the pace of how you tackled the platforming. I'd have liked a little more feel and feedback in the movement, some more sound fx would not have gone a miss. But a genuinely enjoyable and interesting game.
The light mechanic was very creative and fun, It was a joy to play. Good job.
A little nitpicky quality of life that tweak I would like to give is that when you tell a story through texts on screen, let the player decide when to switch scenes and move to the next paragraph, It takes the burden of slow readers and saves fast readers time. It does not takes away from the game one bit but just a QOL tweak that is very nice to have. Great game overall, Really had fun.
Very creative, and good execution, I really enjoyed the light mechanic.
Mechanics with light is interesting! This little light pleasantly reminded me Navi!
This game definitely deserves more views, downloads and comments. The mechanic of light is super cool! Never seen anything like this before. I think, if you will polished that, it will can be a very amazing project. Want to replay it many times, thank u, maybe it was not very scary, but really fun!
