Perfect! I love how this simple game can adopt the theme perfectly. The glitchy art also amazing, you must be a pro, it is not something a newbie like me can achieve.
Great implementation of space invaders! I love how the start and glitch messages were implemented. It adds an interesting twist on space invaders, which I think thematically is a great pick because of it's place in history as the original "The bug is a feature" game. :)

Really nails the retro with a twist vibe! Super well executed. The twists are fun and get better and better.
I enjoyed this game, a lot of it thanks to the visuals and music. I was kinda bad at the actual gameplay tbh haha. I thought the controls are a bit too janky, not sure if that was intentional or not, especially on early level like level 2, where the game just feels like it slows down and not very responsive. On top of that I also encountered a bug where it prevented me from shooting.
Innovative and fun, but maybe controls could be improved.

Could you explain what lead to the bug? Where was the player located when the bug happened?

It's great, i wish it didn't fully restart on death. Meybe you could do something with infinite lives, but hits reduces your final score? Have mercy on terrible gamers like me :)
We will include a baby-mode in our future games :)
This is really cool, some of my favorite games from this jam have been retro-glitched games, and this is one of the reasons why. Simple gameplay loop, but the glitches make it feel fun and fresh. Everything felt polished and had great feel. Nicely done!

This is another 10/10 from me! I really liked how you made the classic atari space invaders game and give it some twist to fit the theme! Ngl I had fun with this one even though I died for few times but finally I managed to complete the game! You guys did a really great job!

Cool game! I really liked the combination of graphics and music, everything is done very nicely. Also, the new mechanics introduced with each level keep it from getting boring. The only thing is, my reaction time isn't good enough to hit that last alien :D
Really cool and fun twist on space invaders (and I'm very happy it's not yet another platformer). The music and vfx was bangin. My only wish is some checkpoints. I gave when I died the second time on the same level, don't feel like starting over from the beginning again.

honestly, out of all the games i've tried for this game jam, this is probably the best one. great job! i took suuuper long before figuring out that i could go up the walls too LOL
this is a peak 10 out of 10 game. But i need to git gud to play it until the end.
