We would've absolutely made a more complex game, but I (programmer) didn't have that much time for this jam, so I programmed a handful of simple mechanics (e.g. "clickable object) and put them together into the rooms

Good to hear it was a well balanced amount of scary!

After you insert the batteries into the flashlight, you can get out the exit by just clicking it

Nomatter which form I take, what weapons I bring, it stands unwavering, my dreams forever out of my reach, even when my reach is longer, The trashcan doesn't respond to threats of violence

Very cute and interesting, great job! :D

I'm guessing the bug they're talking about is that there's no "can purchase" detection

If you have 25 money and something costs 30 money, if you have that item selected in the shop, and you get to 30 money, it doesn't become purchasable until you unselect and reselect that shop item (it only updates the "can buy" variable when you select the item in the shop)

What have I become, for greed is all I saw in my conquest, now I have it all, and yet the screaming seems to have only gotten louder

Lovely game! :D

I run through these old halls and see the work once behind me has been undone, the rabbit returns, the rabbit returns greater than it was, more bloodthirsty, each door leads to where it once didn't, the hallway is forever, the cycle continues

Amazing game!

More difficult then it seems like it would be at first! Great job! :D

(In your dashboard, you should go to edit your game, find "Viewport dimensions" and set it to something smaller like 1280 x 720, this makes the screen on the itch page smaller, otherwise, you can't play the game without zooming out on your browser)

How many countless have been sacreficed to restore faith, how many have given their lives for a god who's abandoned us before?! How long will there be peace before this stranger danger returns

Stunning game, great job guys!

Fantastic vibes & great job implementing these swapping mechanics!

Fantastic job packing so much story into such a small game! Also a maybe weird thing to remark but great job on the interaction-collision shapes, even when two things are right next to each other, the game still seems to know which one I'm trying to interact with

Everywhere I go, I see empty pots - wait what's that?!

Congrats on your entry! Very nice job with the ambience of the game! Difficult but I managed to get all the way through

(Btw you should maybe add Windows support & potentially for other devices, the web version is sometimes a little laggy, you have until 48h after the submission period to add platform support)

Ahhh that's an issue I failed to consider, there's a limit on the total amount of bois that can exist, to prevent lag, so it stops spawning them when there's too many

Fantastic game on all aspects, didn't think I'd be super into this game when I saw it, but it got me hooked or should I say, craned <- insert actually funny hook/crane pun

Hillarious game, well done

Crazy intro, fantastic lol

Lovely simple gameplay, if you'd like some constructive criticism, it'd be nice if the morse code was a sound that immediately started playing as soon as you hit spacebar, this would make it easier to know if you've held down long enough

Glad you enjoyed, fantastic poem! :D

It's so cool that the animals come to me for food and then leave when they've had enough, I love animals! :D (lol)

Nice theme integration, using an easily made coding error

I bought some red shrimp for my aquarium today, so I had to play this when I saw it

I loved being a shrimp :D
Also discovered flight by spamming my brethren lol

Cool twist to the usual platformer, love the simplistic art style!

Great interepretation of the theme! :D

Was fun finding all the bugs

Yeaaahhh, broken retro game squad💪💪💪

Fantastic job! :D

Fantastic, I love being three trashpandas in a trenchcoat, punching the office! :D

Great concept! Though I can see you might've overestimated how big of a game you can make a in a 3-day jam, nevertheless, congrats on getting a game submitted! :D

Would love to see it grow into a bigger game after the jam!

This is genuinly so funny, fantastic job guys

Ngl when the game started I genuinly thought "Oh, it's broken", before the dialogue came up, nailed the theme lol

Glad you enjoyed! :D

There's a Casual Mode too, which makes everything a little slower, the AI slightly worse, and the glitches slightly less frequent, you can enable it by clicking the "Difficulty: Normal" on the titlescreen

Lol, they're random, you got unlucky my poor friend

Glad you enioyed :D

Ye my usual artist unfortunately completely abandoned me and left me to die this jam, but I made do with the skills I have yk :P

Top notch game, incredible work, probably my favourite of the jam, I love cult-card games so much, this thoroughly satisfied my thirst for them

This game's very simple... But very well made

You did an amazing job ADT, I think your game holds a lot more than what it seems like at first, the SFX and music were chosen excelently, and this poor man I'm stealing from, he's incredibly well made, the way he jumps at you, takes a moment to slow down, and gets more weary every day, excellent

Really cool game,  love the concept, feels very professional with the UI animations, amazing job! :D

I love being a rat! :D

Too bad you start all the way from scratch when you die, I wasn't prepared for fall damage after my first time making it really high up

I don't know who I am, I don't know why I'm here... All I know, is that I must dig

Awesome job on this little game, too bad it's not playable in-browser, I think it doesn't get the attention it deserves!
After dying I started digging more carefully, but then somewhere halfway the third layer, I was exploring a cave, and a rock fell on my head, losing me my 960 coins lol

This game's really cool, it doesn't feel like a Jam game? More like one of those cool one-in-a-thousand actually good mobile cardgames

You should release this on the play & app store (maybe with watching an ad to regain a life once/session or something), I'd play this daily whenever I have a minute

This game carries that unmistakable ‘jam magic’—where you can tell the developer poured both creativity and personality into it. It’s not just a project, it’s a reflection of an idea only you could have made in this way. Really cool to see

Glad you enjoyed! :D

At the bottom of the game description there's a little tutorial explaining the armored duck interaction, though once the Jam's over, I'll just put that in the game so it's more clear

More visuals ofc also on our to-do list, but jam time's short, hopefully soon after the jam :D

No, it does indeed track mouse delta, but it's not the frames being weird

Think about it, your mouse is all the way on the right side of your screen at like x = 1280, y = 200, and then teleports to the other side of the screen to x = 0, y = 200, turning your mouse delta to (-1280, 0), causing the giant flip

It's not lagspikes, just start spinning in circles and you'll see it happens constantly

Glad you enjoyed! :D

The teams you face are indeed a little luck-dependent, though we do have a behind-the-scenes system that deleted teams that win/lose too often lol, I have plans to add that ducks are locked behind rounds too, like the Wizard Duck would only be available to get at round 8 or something, this would balance out the teams more

I didn't add the SFX to the battlescene cuz with 8x speedup I feared it'd be too chaotic, there was animation planned for the gacha machine, but I didn't get to it

Cool mechanics for a puzzle platformer! Though movement felt a bit clunky at times
