Pretty cool game! the idea is pretty unique. Thought the pickup mechanic felt a bit weird to use and sometimes it felt like it was not working, along side opening doors, they also felt weird... apart from those issues, the game is pretty well polished, the art is good and the music pretty nice.
Overall, pretty good cool game, I believe it has potential, given a bit more room designs and a small little story...
cool game, the level design is very interesting!
Very well done! I thoroughly enjoyed this. The music sets a wonderful atmosphere. The only issue I noticed was that the keys inside of the wall tubing fell out on their own.
Great work!
Thank you :D
Yeah I'm aware of this issue, I tried to fix it multiple time xD It kinda destroy the challenge haha
I am dissapointed there is not music rating. The music was really beautiful here. The first time ive heard this kind of intimate piece in these game jams. great job for being bold, i will put 5 stars on the sound design just because of the music. 😆 Haven't even played the game yet, just listening to the piano.
Wow...just wow. you have something here. I gave full marks and four starts only because the red rooms hurt my eyes. I recommend changing that, the red is too aggressive. But i started playing the game, next thing i knew an hour passed by. The music really brought that game together. Great job! I enjoy stacking the blocks and get the key at the top of the room. This has the potential to be a very relaxing game that you play just to chill. Reminds me of when you give a crying baby blocks. There is nothing to solve, its just a slice of life puzzle that doesn't end. because the journey is all that matters. Again great job.
Thank you!
I felt this kind of music was fitting good with the puzzle genre, to have a slow paced mood.
I totally agree with the color! I noticed the issue but hasn't found the correct setting to avoid this issue yet. (I am also a little colorblind xD So it may be worse than I saw from my point of view 😆)
I personally enjoyed to create stuff with physic, I think there is more to do, it's like I only explored the top of the iceberg.
Maybe exploring shapes. while playing i had to rotate one of the boxes side ways to move it through the door. and the complexity of the game can get more complicated if you included a map and didn't allow blocks of different colors to enter the same room. But you could also explore shapes instead of colors for the doors.
Here is another game i think it doing something similar. not to discourage you but to hopefully inspire some new ideas.
That's great ideas, thank you!
This looks great, and feels great (and sounds great). Makes me wanna make 3d game, okay, some day..
At first i was confused because no key worked for Grab, maybe add controls hint like Icon of the button (mabe with Hold text). Love the shaders and controls. As far as i know, you can't force fullscreen in browser, so the click-to-enter-fullscreen seems to be the best (and only) option. I use fullscrenn this way too for my games. And i never saw auto-fullscreen. You can launch in almost fullscreen with right settings, and eneble fullscreen with F11, this way it does not exit it when pressing Esc. But you asking player to press F11, that is a drawback of that way.
Anyway, great stuff!
Thank you!
Yeah this is a good point, I should have put an hint on the displayed text. On the Main Menu it was only showing the input but I forgot to mention to "hold" the key. (I did mentionned it in the page description)
I'm still trying to figure the best way to enable fullscreen, the way I did here was bad (as we should never force it), got an idea for the next time. I forced it because the current settings i use for unreal don't match itch iframes and makes lot of cuts.
And since it's an unreal engine game, the default fullscreen setting provided by itch wouldn't work as expected.....(Or maybe you just gave me an idea to fix that!)
Very relaxing experience
Could sit here for hours, very relaxing
wow this was a wonderful experience i would love to play more of this.
Thank you ❤️
Got too many idea but no time remaining, playing with physic is fun!
