Nice game, I had a bit hard time controlling the character.

The mechanics are of a basic platformer but nothing very surprising. The movement felt good, which is very important for platformers. Good job overall. The story, cutscenes, art and music made it an enjoyable experience :)

The artstyle... It's fantastic, mechanics are really smooth, and sounds are really enjoyable, overall a great game. But I think it would make more sense if you could jump through clouds/suds... It made sense to me that it should be jump-through, which made a game a bit more harder than it actually is

Really cool game, the art and music is amazing, but I think the jump could be a bit floatier/last longer and the shooting plant could shoot less frequently to allow more room to jump through. Very impressive for two days, especially in paint!

the projectile colliding with the head goes right through
Maybe its due to the damage cooldown. That means when you take damage you won´t get damaged by anprojectile or enemy for a few moments.
OMG! The graphics on this are incredible, the cutscene, the background everything looks very polished, excellent job and also the dead pinto beans sprouting had me lol

loved the cutscenes and all the art, it is really impresive for paint i think, great job. got kinda bugged 2 times and a restart key would have improven the experience, great job this is a very well crafted one

This game is incredibly cute. Your art is amazing and it's even more impressive that you did this in paint.
As for the controls, I had trouble with how fast the character was going, which is due to me just being bad at these types of games, so no worries. Maybe you can add a noob difficulty, haha. I also kept trying to use space or W to jump as those are more traditional buttons for doing so, maybe you could make it so space as well as J works.
But yeah, again, those little beans are too adorable, great job!

Very nice art, and the music is really good as well. Lots of bugs though especially on the second level, mainly clipping through the ground, or sliding off a cloud or getting stuck against one. Overall pretty cool though and the movement, besides the bugs, feels fun.

The main problem is physics, if running fast enough, you can go thru ground or clouds. And sometimes you can slip from clouds without any reason.

Holy shit dude this has to be my favorite submission in this game jam! You guys are very talented as shown This is a really amazing game to be made in just two days the art style is so good and the you made some cool music too! and some nice level design my only downside is that the controls are a bit stiff when you move the characther but other than that Its awesome.

Hey, I tried to play but when I talk to green guy the game kind of stops for a moment and nothing happens. The art work is amazing tho.

Oh my, I really don't know what caused the problem but it works fine now.
I guess you used Composite Collider for the tilemap. Sometimes I pass trough the floor. I had the same problem a while ago in one of my games.
