You found an awesome way of making a metroidvania with no combat. Loved playing through it. Controls were pretty smooth. Took a bit of getting used to the acceleration and deceleration but quickly discovered why it needed to work like that when I got the yellow powerup. Had a lot of fun with this one. Good job!

ShippyI failed a lot, not going to lie. But, I failed upwards. The game makes failing a learning experience and doesn't punish you too hard for doing so. It strangely feels a lot like Metroid with it's laid back atmosphere and special abilities that allow you to access other areas of the map. The art is really nice (especially the death animation). The little color/ability cutscenes are super smooth. Great job!

Jack and The Dark (Jam Version)Some really great ideas in the puzzle rooms and movement. I liked the constant checkpoints, they make resetting fluid and fun.

The Resistance SquadI like the idea of unlocking colors to reach certain areas. The lasers have a very fun sound.
I think the movement of the character could be a bit smoother.
The animations are great!

VoidvasionNice little metroidvania! I like the take on colors, the simple but effective visuals as well as the music that gets more and more complete after we get new abilities. My main suggestion for improvement, which is pretty subjective, would be to try to make the character movement more responsive/juicy, because sometimes I got the feeling it was slightly too cumbersome to control. Great entry anyway!

Six SpaceshipsI’d say a good general rule would be to favor fast and responsive pace of movement/actions. If that makes the game easier, fine, just add more ennemies and challenges, which will make the game feel even more satisfying :)
That is of course a rather subjective opinion and feel free to dismiss it if you want to, that’s perfectly fine 😄
Crazy animation work on the character. Very smooth, it's amazing for that scale

BrøckenoidThis game is smooooth. Very nice work. Sort of like a metroid-vania but reminded me a lot of older cinematic platformers like Prince of Persia. Great work! Oh also the thumbnail is great! It was definitely eye-catching

Last MinuteFantastic mini-metroidvania, with simple, intuitive mechanics. Each room felt almost puzzle-like, with a particular highlight being the up-then-down-again alternating blue and yellow block room (I hope that makes sense?) - chaining my jump and crouches to get over in one fluid motion felt fantastic.
I loved the way new mechanics were introduced, with the simple animations perfectly explaining what was required without a single word onscreen. The player's animations are also fantastic, with a remarkably smooth and natural feeling to them for so few pixels!
The various particle systems for lazers and deaths are so juicy :)
The adaptive music was a very nice touch, with the new instrument introduced with each power really helping to push me forwards
