A foddian game... ah truly a game after my own heart. My submission was foddian as well, but yours is a lot more straight forward haha. I appreciated it a lot. Wasn't too difficult, but had me sweating a couple of those jumps for sure! Squishing the frog was not only a great touch, but really NEEDED to happen. It's already great, but make him even squishier!

I like it. I think it's different enough from Celeste imo. It's pretty solid, but probably a bit too hard right off the bat (my games are often the same way). I'd suggest making the physics more lenient like more acceleration when moving and lower terminal velocity. Also, I'd make the camera linger on the deaths a bit so the player has a better sense of what they did wrong and then correct accordingly. It's still doable now, but it's pretty quick and hard to see exactly which spike hit me or visually seeing, oh I went just a tad to low on that try.

Great effort all around!

I started an illegal gambling ring based on which worms would survive the longest. I had to remortgage my house... turns out you shouldn't put it all on red after all... because you gotta go all in on BLACK baby!

Whew! and thanks!

Hm.. I'm realizing now that maybe I needed to follow both themes... I just got carried away making my game that I didn't really think it all the way through. If it's supposed to be both, sorry

Thanks for playing! I'll have to check out Legend of Kage

Thanks! I might come back to it another day and build up into something more fleshed out.

Appreciate the kind words. Thanks for playing!

Thank you for playing! I'll try and play yours tonight! Love your pfp hahaha

Thanks! Yeah, it was an intentional design decision. Thought it would keep the game game more interesting since it would be less symmetrical. Might change it up in the future with other ways to spice up gameplay. Thanks for playing!

Thanks! Correct, you can't turn around. It was the way I interpreted a separate jam's theme. I thought it was interesting because the gameplay isn't symmetrical meaning you have to stay on your toes a bit more. Utilizing your jump, specifically.

Thanks for playing and for the solid feedback. Appreciate it!

That's a pretty good score! Yeah, tried a bunch of different timings, so I'm glad it paid off.

Thank you and thanks for playing!

Thank you! Had fun making it

Thank you and thanks for playing!

Thanks! Life got in the way, and I didn't have a great idea before hand that I'd be able to pull off, but I'm glad I participated all the same :) Appreciate the kind words

Yup! 8 hours on a Saturday lol. I know because I had a timer since I was also submitting it to the concurrent tri-jam. Obviously I didn't quite finish in time to qualify for that hahaha

Yeah most of my games tend to be on the difficult side. Maybe I'll try making a game that's just super chill haha. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to make music (or better sfx lol) but maybe I can remedy that once the jams review periods are over. Thanks for playing!

Thank you

Thank you haha that's probably my favorite part too

Thanks for playing! Appreciate the kind words

Short, simple, fun. Love the damage that's visible on the car.

I can see the vision. It's a decent start, but the platforming is a bit rough. What did you use for development?

Pretty relaxing. I liked some of the abstract art as well.

Pretty cool work! I didn't know so much work went into making one. I guess all hobbies are like that to some degree

Hey did you make the art and music? It came out pretty great!

New personal best. Post pics of your highest! Can you beat 149?

Not bad! Thanks for playing!

How do we provide proof that we made the game in under 3 hours?

Thanks

Made it to the top in 40 seconds :) See if you can beat that time!

Thanks! Yeah I'm working on another project, but I think this could be a fun one to add more too since it's still pretty open design-wise. :D

Oh wow! What a big oversight on my part. LOL thanks for checking out the game anyway.

(1 edit)

Thanks! Yep, I was doing two jams at once so I didn't have time to show the health in the UI. I'll get around to it and add some stuff once the rating period is over :) Thanks for playing! If you wouldn't mind, I'd appreciate a rating!

Haha thanks

Yes, there were going to be other enemy types that would have utilized the dash more, but I didn't have time. I will continue  to work on the project post jam though :D

Thanks!
