I don't have much to say other than that I would give your "Graphics/Art" score a 6 if I could. It's perfect and impressive  to have done in such a short time.

The polish is through the roof. And it's honestly fun and easy to understand. You tutorialized well. Yeah.... just great.

Wow!  I love that you put tooltips in, really helps learn the systems and understand what's happening.  I think you did a great job of teaching mechanics without being too hand-holdy with an extended tutorial

There's been ongoing debate as to whether or not games are art, with various institutions weighing in over the years. I think games transcend art, but cannot do so without being supplemented by great art.

This game is the embodiment of that concept. The gameplay itself is not much, but it still fills you with such joy and contentment. I applaud the creator.

Also, I got to floor 22 on my first go, and 43 on my second! Good luck!

Thank you for the kind review, your words mean a lot to me. I'm glad you had fun!

I think I spotted some of the art work on the discord and knew it was one of the games I wanted to try. This has a huge level of polish and there's a lot for me to learn here and apply to my own work to reach a higher standard.

Beautiful art work, atmosphere and a simple to understand and solid gameplay loop. The only thing I'd add is maybe some more interactive events e.g. part of the tower "creaks" and you have to investigate where the issue is on the tower and tap to repair it. If you leave it then that floor collapses.

Nice soundtrack and ambience
The art is gorgeous
I wish It was more challenging, some events happening randomly without my intervention that affect the building.

I am in love with the visual design of your game, it's so refined! I like the dark but rather humorous spin you have on resource management-type games, where resident death is a vital component to progress. My only wish is for there to be a way to pause time, as I struggled to understand what was going on while each day was going by. I managed to build 34 floors by the end of day 30.

Great game!

Very, very nice work on your game. This felt incredibly polished. I would have like a way to pause and read the notes on the various systems, but that's it. This was a fantastically well done game. Great job!

Excellent game, short and sweet. I tried a few times and capped at 35 floors. The events were a very nice touch and really boosted the feel. I definitely felt like a real-time board game of sorts. I'm imagining a tabletop version with multiple players competing for the best tower. Super cool game!

Really charming game! I like rats. Sometimes I like towers too. So combining these two together, reminds me of home. Could maybe do with some more cheese haha

Very well polished game:)  I really enjoyed playing!

Amazing! This is an extremely well-rounded and addictive game. Very impressed that it's a solo effort. I reached 40 floors :D

Also, the duplicate event issue adds comedic value so don't feel bad about it, haha.

Whoa, this is art.

The UI. The theme. The graphics. The sound. Amazing all around.

Got 30 levels high, top polished game!
I could see this get really good if you could somehow add a litte bit more complexity, maybe building to the sides? Having the tower to be "balanced", not to lean to heavy on one side?
Maybe buildings are cheaper when build on the same level (but you get the same bonus) idk, to get "steamrolling" later on.
Once I got two of the same bonus cards to choose from, that should probably not be that way.

Loved your idea, good fit of the Tower Theme.
Absolute adorable graphics, lots of animated mice, relaxing soundtrack, super sound effects.
I absolutly love everything of your UI, the visuals and sounds etc. also the hints for the player
Absolutly amazing that you could do this in just 9 days on your own. Respect!!!
You might win the GWJ#73

I build 22 levels the first time. Really polished game, enjoyed it quite a bit. The difficulty was quite low, a little more danger would make it even more fun.

I love how polished this game is. You really nailed the game feel. Everything was so cohesive.

It’s absolutely amazing! I mean… absolutely! The graphics, the gameplay, and everything else is well-rounded and complements one another.

The game feels complete but also has a lot of potential for expansion. Best luck in the contest and beyond!

That game was so much fun. For me a 10/10 game

Love the art style (and enjoyed your in progress shots on discord). This feels really well polished and has really fun touches. I would have enjoyed it more if the time progression was clearer, or there was a way to pause (in the beginning in particular) I wanted to read what all the floors/effects did, but time was ticking on and I hit my first event before placing anything. My first run I hit 36 floors and thought it was a fun touch you added a banner for better than the Dev :)

Thank you very much for the review, Chippper, 36 this is a great result! The game really has some progression issues that I would love to fix in the future 😊
