If I could get my only criticism out of the way, the bland title did not do this incredible submission justice, and it flew under the radar when it should've been the most popular game.
It's amazing the standard that's constantly being risen jam-after-jam, showing how much can actually be achieved in nine days by a team of exceptionally talented developers. That opening cinematic was incredible. UI and art gorgeous from the beginning, and maybe one of the best main menus I've seen in a jam.
The simulated dialogue effect was very cute. Complimented well the enchanting music and wonderful atmosphere. Point-and-click mechanics solid, though the big struggle with these types of games is being unsure what part of the screen is functional, so a lot of the gameplay is random clicking all over, hoping something will interact (the hint system: a great UX addition to help with this!).
A lovely entry that if I had a child, I'd want them to play since the aesthetic would be pleasing to them and it would hone their problem-solving ability. (Though, it took me forever to find the light to the first room too!).
A criminally underrated submission. Maybe the best in the competition, and the perfect one for me to conclude on for this stacked jam. Excellent contribution from this team!
thanks bigtime for your well written and really heartwarming comment.
Yeah we ran a bit out time in the end. Endscreen art missing and not a perfect Solution for identifying the items. As a last minute addition we implemented the item highlight function to help the players in need.
I think this time our thumbnail is not catching the audience. The playercharacter is not looking as sweet as in the game… she is looking away and looks like an old witch who is cleaning the spiderwebs 😅 and in that way the thumbnail is not very advertising for players.
Yeah also the title… 😂 had of course to include „tower“ and the story idea was to „clean“… a day before the submission we had to add something „magical“ to it 😂
Thanks from the Team!
Well-deserved ranking and win—congratulations!
a point-and-click adventure?! in a one-week jam?! and it's this polished and well-made?
unbelievable. one of my favorites in the jam, for sure.
This is very impressive! It's short, but really, really high quality. I had some minor issues with the item UI/UX (like the slightly buggy hover state of the slots throwing me off), but I won't let that detract from what is otherwise an amazing piece of work. I'm surprised this submission doesn't have more ratings - hopefully you get a lot more before voting ends!
This was very cute. The art was well done and having the opening sequence was quite good. The biggest problem for me was the length. I was hoping for more. I imagine all of the custom art per screen made it very difficult to get more in such a short amount of time. All in all a very beautiful game. I did have some struggles with the controls. Some of the item cursors it was hard to determine where to click. Timing was a little long on acquiring an item and getting the popup for it. Escape brought up your pause menu but close it. These are all pretty minor things though.
The puppy was super cute and I was sad when I could only pet him once.
In conclusion more levels and more puppy! Thanks for the game!
Wooow… That was a great game! Probably my favorite in the jam so far!
Wow! What an amazing looking and polished little game! The art is adorable and so well done, and the music and audio are just perfect for setting the tone. The point-and-click adventure controls worked well and the puzzles were logical and straightforward. Only got caught up on what to do with the herbs for a small bit. Extremely impressive! Well done!
Such a cute little point and click game! I loved the art and cool wizard grandpa!
Visually gorgeous, I adore the visual style you used! I haven't played many point-n-click games, but I found the puzzles to be charming and require some thinking in order to solve. I love how comfy this game feels in its presentation and writing. My only wish is for there to be an end screen, but I know that the jam time frame is pretty limited. Nice work!
Just opened the game. I'm blown away, just amazing. I sincerely believe you guys deserve to win--hope you do! We need more point and click adventures.
Thank you so much! This is my and our first attempt at a point and click adventure and you’re right, we do need more of them!
THIS WAS SO FREAKIN GOOD!! i absolutely loved everything about this, the puzzles, the music, the ambiance, the artstyle. everything was great, i found myself wanting for more and was so upset to have finished it. truly a standout amongst the other submissions. great work guys, very solid and cozy game
Awww, thank you! Really happy to hear you would like to see more content! :)
This was amazing! Such great atmosphere. And the artwork is so cool!
OMGGG! 🤩 This game was the most lovely thing ever! I truly loved it! The aesthetic is superb, such lovely drawings -- and the accomplishment cards were so cute, I want the owl one in a sticker hehe 💖 The puzzles were really fun and the music gave it that cozy magical feeling 🔮 Congrats on the amazing game!
Thank you so much! Here you go! :)
OMG I loved this game! Such nice art style, my favourite part were the little accomplishment scene cards shown, especially the dog one:) Music was on point and the texts displayed after clicking were putting the player on the right track of what needs to be done. Very well done I enjoyed this a lot:)
Thank you for the feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed it! The dog card is my favourite, too :)
This was amazing!!!
