Game Description
Epic team managment strategy made in crazy two days. But it's already perfect as a round furball.

There is a tower. And you own it.

Gorgeous artwork! The art drew me in, but the gameplay kept me going.

It took a few deaths before I understood how the mechanics worked (I was dragging the furball *onto* the map points rather than in front of them so they roll over it). But once I figured that out and how to lock the furballs in place by having them roll into each other, it was a lot easier to manage.

Developer

Thank you for your kind words :)

Dragging furballs onto the task doesn’t always work. They are willful creatures and like rolling over on their own :)

After understanding the game mechanics it was a fun challenge :D I don't know if its cheesing or a valid strategy but I was able to keep a large number of furballs stuck on the screen by letting left runners collide with right runners so their forces balance out and they are just stuck in place- this way i managed to hoard a large number of furballs on the screen without a lot of mouse movement and then using them on demand.

Wow, thanks for playing!

Herding furballs on the map is indeed the most advanced technique for managing them :) I call it free-range furballs.

I like the art and the concept, and had fun playing it!
I think an in-game introduction about the mechanics would be a good addition to the game!

Thank you for playing! I, myself, miss an intro and some explanation the most :) Now, it’s only explained briefly on the game’s page.

Was a little confused at first, especially in understanding the letters and decide what to do. Despite of that, the game is very charming and unique, congrats!

Developer

Thank you for your kind feedback! I’m sorry to hear the game caused confusion.

Love the art and had a fun time playing this! It was a little confusing but especially given the short time frame this is very fun and cool.

Fun game and it sounds like you started late in the jam so good job with less time! I agree with some of the other comments that the letters were hard to manage. I also wasn't clear if I lost a furball forever if it rolled off the screen or of the tower just keeps producing them so its no big deal. I spent a lot of time furball herding :-p.

Thanks for a fun game.

Developer

Thank you for playing! I’m glad to hear that you had fun with the game. :)

The number of furballs in your possession is indeed limited, and it is shown in the interface. It may not be obvious, but when you send a furball to a task, it then instantly returns to the tower. But if it rolls away from the map, it is lost forever. So, you need to manage and keep them busy. New furballs can be acquired by clicking on the tower. The price is 5 gold coins. This is said on the game’s page but is not apparent from the game itself.

I really liked this concept, never seen it before.

Yeah, the color coding and letters were hard to understand in the beginning.

Developer

Hi! Thank you for your feedback. The idea was to make a team management game where you have agents that could be used to solve tasks. I first gave up on it :), thinking I couldn’t finish it in one week. But on Saturday, before the deadline, I decided to try to pull it out in two days. It turned out to have a distinct flavor and gave a lot of dev XP in the process.

Nice Sounds and graphics,
But clicking on all the letters is quite hard.
Also it seems like, I didn't understand the colorcoding completly.

Developer

Hi! Thank you for playing. Letters management is kind of tedious, I agree.

As for the abilities and colors, it goes like this: each furball has a unique ability. It’s either martial arts, magic, diplomacy, or healing. And each ability has its color. Each task also features an important ability for solving it, and the pin for the task is colored in a respective color.

There must be a better way to organize this information with icons, etc., but we didn’t have time to fully develop this aspect.
