Nice little puzzle with an interesting and original idea! Thank you for your game, I had a pleasure playing it.

Very cool Idea and good level design, and the art was also coherent. Good job!

Funny puzzle game which was not that hard and not that easy. The boomerang levels were fun and I loved them. Only if it had more levels...

Well done friend!

Thanks! I do wish there were some more levels.

The visuals and sfx remind me of baba is you, very cute and charming game!

You made some neat level design with just a few mechanics (especially the last one). Great job!

I HAD FUN! :D It was kinda hard at first bc im dumb, but after the first 2 lvls i figured out what i was doing, i liked the boomerang  and hidden path ways, really made me think! :D GOOD GAME!

Well done! The core mechanic is simple, and you've managed to do a good job with it. The wraparound and boomerang are really good complements. The level progression, introduction of the mechanics, and the levels themselves are well thought out. For a jam this is great work. Surely has potential for more.

Thanks! I was going to implement some levels that used limited Cutting to add some more depth than just a maze. I was thinking about having keys to collect that open doors and have a way to un-equip the sword to alow for more freeing movements.

I'm glad you liked it!

Simple idea but well executed! I wish there were more levels for sure, and would love to see what other mechanics(apart from the boomerang) that you would have managed to implement!

Cleverly made game! I love how much thoughtfulness went into this. Cute graphics and SFX, too.

I had to "R" to restart more times than I'd like to admit, but I made it to the end! Thanks for posting this!

Thanks.

I'm always amazed at how people can come up with very simple game mechanics that by themselves create an entire game. I always tend to do the opposite (come up with complex mechanics that add a lot of variety but are harder to learn/understand).  I think these simple concepts that are well executed are very impressive! The little shuffling sound when walking is also a great touch. I loved playing, great job making this game.  (And thanks for having fun with ours!)

Developer

I think it's more so about what you're trying to go for. Simplicity allows for more time to develop other parts of the game while more complex mechanics lead to longer and more diverse gameplay.

Much thanks, Wildernaut

I really like this. Well done making a really strong and simple core mechanic.

This was a fun game, and a really original idea in tandem with the boomerang.  Thanks for the game to play!

I only had time to fit one more mechanic, and I think that this was the best choice.

Glad you liked the game!

Neat game~! Loved the color palette you used for your art. The softness of the colors and the calm music created this cozy feel which helped me focus with your puzzles. Btw, your puzzles are super well thought-out! Had fun playing the game!

Quick thing, I think I there might be a small bug in the level that first introduces the boomerang. Had some confusion with how to get it to work. Originally, I ran up to it and interacted with it before getting the sword. Was very confused when I went back and the boomerang didn't flip my character when I had my weapon forged in hand. Restarting the level fixed everything though.

Regardless, good stuff and if you do continue it, keep it up!

Developer(+1)

Ah yea I need to fix that, it wasn't meant to be touched till you had the anvill. Lol

Honestly I was spent so I wanted to make it short then I realized that the game had no sound so I made some music for it.

Haha that's quite a feat! If you're ever in need of a composer or sound designer, I am more than happy to support your work!
