Very cool simple game, I like that the art style is super coherent. Also really like the spawn anvil animation, looks good. I don't think I have anything to critic, the game was short but to the point, didn't overstay its welcome. Great job!
Cool platformer, the feeling while moving/humping is really good and levels were well thought. Using hammers to double jump is funny. Great job !
I love how many details you included in your design. The little hammers and the fact, that the blacksmith hatches from an anvil are very funny to me.
A solid platformer. Every stage is well-made and challenging as the player progresses. Controls and movement are snappy so no complaints there.
No complaints. Everything works! Especially the graphics and music. Nice progression with challenges also, I would enjoy this kind of game for HUNDREDS OF LEVELS haha. Anyway, 10/10. Good job!
Ooooo clean platformer y'all got! Game feels incredibly smooth and art and animations were integrated well. Will say, when I saw that the hammer was being used to help the character jump, I got excited and was hoping to see how that hammer was going to be used for gameplay. Kind of bummed to not see it used for any combat mechanic or even a forge mechanic. It was just such a cool detail I wish y'all developed more. If you guys do continue with this game, it would be cool to see how you can integrate that little thrown hammer into another gameplay element.
Regardless, good stuff and congrats on the first GWJ jam!
A fun and efficient little platformer, I appreciate the time you took polishing this. I love the double jump animation, that's a nice touch.
In terms of mechanics, it's a little bit dry for a platformer. Without any player acceleration, the game feels a bit too "fake", like there isn't any weight on the character. I also don't think there is any coyote time, as I lost my double jump quite a few times while jumping from a platform.
I understand these mechanics aren't easy to implement in a jam, esp since it's your first. I think you focused on the most important part : making a full fledged, polished game. Congrats !
Had a good time running through this. Controls were a little stiff at times, and some of the jumps were a LITTLE high. Love the art, and the tune was catchy. Good game!
Music slaps, graphics are awesome and the character controller feels pretty good!
Had fun with it up to the level with the ascending swapping disappearing platforms and got stuck there sadly, I couldn't jump high enough to alternate between the platforms along with how tight the timings were.
(Note: I despised the colored cassette blocks in Celeste so I am probably not your target audience haha).
Fun game. The disappearing platforms were slightly frustrating, but maybe I just need to get good. I liked the persistent hammers from the double jump - nice touch!

This looks and feels great. The controls are fantastic. Great game
I really like spawn animation. I also think you did a good job at increasing difficulty in a subtle way, although I feel the disappearing blocks needed some kind of cue, whether sound or otherwise. And finally, I liked that you allowed multiple paths to finish some levels.
