I think it's more so about what you're trying to go for. Simplicity allows for more time to develop other parts of the game while more complex mechanics lead to longer and more diverse gameplay.

Thanks! I was going to implement some levels that used limited Cutting to add some more depth than just a maze. I was thinking about having keys to collect that open doors and have a way to un-equip the sword to alow for more freeing movements.

I love this game, for the fact that you get to forge your vehicle! Sadly I couldn't make a car cause I didn't have enough resources to build :(. After the jam add more base resources

Very short arcade shooter. Feels like Galicia. I like the upgrade system where you need to collect the scraps, compared to other shooters where if you shoot something then you just automatically get the points. However, I do think the armor system is bugged due to not replenishing over turns. (Or that could be what you intended) But a cool game none the less!

Great little game, even if it didn't fit the theme as much.

In the beginning, I was flustered, but as I played it it got better, the upgrades became more apparent and was extremely fun!
