Great art and it's an original concept. The controls on the web build are a bit laggy. Sometimes resources can't be collected if they are overlapping the UI.

I didn’t quite manage to figure out how to gather resources and use recipes, but stomping and burning stuff from the air was fun!

Developer

Thank you for trying our game! You collect resources by clicking on them while they fly in the air. To forge, you drag and drop them back onto the ground into a pile according to one of the recipes.

Really original and cool idea with good art and music.
I would like to be able to use the dragon stomp and fire whenever I want to and whatever place I want to. The game right now forces you to click on it when it appears which I don't like as a design decision but it balances the game here.
Able to forge and make monsters is really fun and executed really well.

Thank you for playing and for your feedback! I’m glad that you found it cool. Having only a limited window for a dragon action is an important challenge in this game. Without it would be too easy to make your way through the enemy defences.

Very original idea, I really like the monster crafting

Very creative idea. It took a while to figure it out, but once I got the hang of it it worked fine. I wish there was a way to scroll the background instead of it being automatic. Currently when you place down objects to forge you have to hope that you don't progress further, which is a bit annoying.

Overall, though, very good job! I like the aesthetic of the game

Thank you for your feedback! It’s great that the game worked well for you.

The auto scrolling of the camera could be improved, I agree. We can make it less jaggy if we don’t immediately retreat when your unit dies. We could live without it, maybe, but the latter needs testing. You see, some camera limits are a must in such a game. Otherwise, you can scroll to the right and start Stomping the enemy castle right from the start :)

Nice work!  My team made a similar game, but yours was definitely more advanced mechanic-wise.  I like that you included a super easy tutorial level to get the hang of things.  Cheers!

Thank you for your feedback! I’m glad that you enjoyed the game :)

I enjoyed the energy of this game - it was fast paced and manic! I wasn't quite sure how to collect resources from the environment? Music was fun, sound effects a bit hit and miss. VFX were great but caused performance issues as mentioned below.

This is a solid entry - well done

Thank you for playing and for your feedback! To collect resources you need to first Stomp! on things and creatures on the ground, and then quickly click on the resources that fall out :)

right! Ok I need to improve my timing to actually hit things then!

I found this to be a unique take on the theme and an interesting mechanic. I had some perf problems -- possibly from the dragon VFX getting compiled (were they pooled objects?) -- and the screen shifting as much as it did left/right was polarizing for me. I loved that it captured the push/pull of a battle but the frequency of it made things a little hard to follow.

The gameplay was fun and the mechanics of collecting things before they got lost was super solid / I loved the time dilation when it all went into the air and that collecting things near another resource would give you more time. I feel like this would be a super solid mobile game if you kept developing the concept.

Music and art were a great match to the vibe.

Solid entry, cheers!

I'm sure this was just a problem I had, but I couldn't find how to do most things, such as collect more resources, and forge anything. I wasn't able to tell the difference between what was and wasn't a button.

Look into the main page, it's all explained very well !

Thank you for playing! We will improve the accessibility after the jam. Please take a look at the main page for the HOWTO. To Stomp or Forge, you need to click the corresponding dragon button: stomp_action.pngforge_action.png

Before forging, you need to drag the resources out of the left grid and drop them on the ground in the level:
