Nice submission for your first. Not sure I was able to follow all the different gadgets and power ups. Ended up with 3600 points, not really sure if that was good or bad.
Thanks for playing the game!
It's all about the journey, the score is just a number :)
Neat idea and good music.
Instead of clicking on the button it would have been better to make it an anvil or an enemy. There is no reason why I as a player have to click on it.
There are items I am getting for leveling up and I don't see any visible difference in my gameplay. That is I am still clicking. Generally the design for leveling up is to make the gameplay different by giving some new things since we can only click it does not feel fun leveling up.
why the 3 minutes and 14 seconds time limit? Is there a reason for it?
Good job on your first GWJ and as a solo developer keep up the good work!
Hey, thanks for playing my game!
Well you are right and I didn't have time to polish the "click" button sadly.
Well you get gadgets after leveling up and each gadget does something different which is visually told to the player by different SFX, gadget popping up and also different particles and numbers with different color. I'm not sure where is the problem.
3.14? Because we are Pi-rates!
Thank you again :)
Oh Pi-rates! Totally went over me.
what I mean by gameplay not changing is I only had one input and one way to give it. I have not played many clickers except for some idle clickers so it might be something obvious I am missing here.
I gave it another try and yeah gameplay changes I missed somethings when I played before. Totally my bad, without UI telling me it goes over my head.
Your idea is really original and its well executed giving many playstyles.
Well clicker games are mostly just pressing left click, but my game added some other inputs (Tab, Right Click, Space, etc.) to increase your score if you want to play the game rhythmically and not just 1 input.
Plus some other ways to gain score, like reroll, upgrading, level up, etc. and some other ways that you have to find the right gadget(s).
I totally misunderstood the game about 1 input. I only saw one input that is click button and thought it was all there is to it.
My View as an outsider to clickers:
The only thing game is missing is the hook to play it for me. I don't know why player needs to get high score.
My recommendations would be to put some context to the game like you are killing monsters and the score shows the number of monsters player has killed.
I know it's been done with limited resources and it's great with what you have but my feedback is this after trying it a couple of times.
I wanted to create something like what you said (fighting enemies) but time restraint didn't allow me to do so. But I'll definitely do it later.
Fun game. I liked the simplicity of the concept. Figuring out which gadgets to pick was interesting. After a bit of playing I started going for the automatic gadgets rather than those you need to trigger manually. Got a score of about 9.5k. Regarding the levels of the traits, I could see that the level should go up, but it was a while before I realized you had to click on them after leveling up each time. But in some runs I saw you can level up traits using a combination of resources? This was a bit confusing. There were a good mix of gadgets with some operating on time and others on clicks. The UI could use some tweaking, sometimes the numbers from the first row of gadgets are hidden by the second row. Overall this is great for a jam entry (even more so for 3 days of work!).
Thanks you for playing the game and giving me this big feedback!
Upgrading traits is done by clicking on them and having enough resources. I thought displaying number of resources required below each upgrade would be enough to tell the player what to do.
Yeah polishing and tweaking was not enough because of lack of time, but I tried my best to deliver the best regardless.
Thank you again :)
Great game for only three days! I think you incorporated the theme well. I would love to see what you can do with the whole 9 days!
My score was 12670 btw.
Great job!

Thank you for the feedback and WP!
Oh! Some one else made a clicker game in the jam, that is nice. I'm a big fan of your combination of clicker plus powerups, I think the idea has a lot of potential. Level up sfx was nice. The color palette was a little all over the place, I suggest to use less saturated colors. Overall good job!
Thank you very much :)
Yeah I just added colors! Who cares about saturation 😅
Cool game! I got a little addicted, I won't lie, and I ended up playing a few rounds more than I expected haha
Also, I tried to get a really high score with the empty vial and an autoclicker but the empty vial never doubled my score :(
I'm glad you loved the game :)
Well tbh I tried many times to test empty vial, but everytime I accidentally picked up another gadget, so... Sorry about that mb 😅
Even though it's simple, very fun game for three days of work. Clicker games are always appealing.
I'm happy you enjoyed the game. Yeah 3 days weren't enough for making a polished game, but the process was fun anyway. Thank you!
Nice screenshot!
Clicker games with synergy powers like this are fun. Great job is the small amount of time you had. I wish there was more time to get some kind of automation going.
Thank you very much :)
I'm glad you're happy with the game. Yeah time limits are annoying but also make things interesting!
There are some automation gadgets too, but because the game was short (3:14), I think fast clicks were more important than automation with afk play style.
Great job on the game.
The gameplay loop is quite enjoyable and easy to get into, especially considering you only had three days to work on it. I enjoyed the synergies between certain gadgets.
For the spacesuit, it might work better if the player does not have to activate it after EXACTLY seven clicks. As it is, the player needs to slow down frequently. It could remain ready and reset when the player presses the space bar.
Thank you for playing the game and giving me feedback :) I'm happy that you enjoyed the game.
I tried to make different types of gadgets, one of them was miss-able gadgets, where you have to activate it or will be missed. There are other gadget types like auto-activating, passive, non-miss-able (the type you had in mind), timed, etc.
The reason for the "exact number" mechanic was so the player plays the game rhythmically, like 7 clicks, space, 7 clicks, space, etc. Combined with other gadgets, madness awaits the player!
For the genre, this has some decent options. Although you say it is fixed, I didn't see the timer (playing on the web version), so I was wondering how long I had to keep clicking!
Thanks for playing the game :)
I think you picked the "Blindfold" gadget which removes the timer UI in exchange of more score, I'm not sure. But the timer bug was fixed and I'm sure about that!
Had some fun clicking and pressing buttons like mad :D
I'm happy that you had fun! ☺️
Thanks to @DDAN and the Wild Game Jam moderators, the time limit bug is fixed and uploaded :)
I think this game could have been better, if you had spent more time on it. The game feels rushed, and the time limit doesn't even work. Also, the music could have been better. The controls were fine, but it can be tiring to spam left click for 3:14, (Assuming the time limit worked) especially when using a trackpad.
Thanks again for the feedback
That's the fun of game jams when you don't have enough time to do everything properly, especially when you are alone.
About click spam, well, that's the game's genre! There are games that you have to click for hours! But I also added some non-left-click keys for scoring too!
The fix for time limit is on the way..
That's true, but you had 9 days and apparently you only used 3 of them? The game just could have been playtested and polished within those extra 6 days.
well yeah I decided to join the jam in the last 3 days. Unfortunately 6 days were gone!
But hey! I already had fun and learned a lot in these 3 days. And getting feedbacks like these are so good for me, maybe even better than getting the first place!
Thanks a lot! And I will try your game tomorrow and give you my feedback.
Ohhh! Sorry, I didn't understand that.
