Reminds me of Zachtronics' games! And much like with those, I was too thick to finish it, but I enjoyed what I saw.

Actually looking back, what I'm doing is multiplying the normalized difference between the mouse position and the plug position by a constant and setting that to the plugs linear velocity in _physics_process. I honestly just messed around with a bunch of random approaches until I found a compromise between least buggy and sorta functional. I found it pretty hard to get the rigid bodies to behave correctly, it was a lot of trial and error.
Yep I did try that, but I'm a bit confused about how that's supposed to work in code because it's not like changing the body mode all of the sudden gives you access to the normal kinematic body methods like move_and_slide... There's definitely a better solution then what I landed on, who knows if I'll ever get to implementing it though haha.

This game has something awesome in it but not my cup of tea. I think giving a little hint to what is the player's objctive could be a really good idea. Like "Make a series of digit". Understand what is expected from me took me 30 minutes once! But it's an impressive game though! I had some strange bugs with overlapping cables too that made me restart the levels.
I loved it. Such a powerful vibe, I really REALLY liked aesthetics, it's so stylish. The game is also pretty fun. Great job!
Really cool game. The puzzle mechanics are great (although I didn't quite get was I was supposed to do on level 7), the pixel art graphics look amazing (the Godot Logo OMG). And your interpretation of the theme is almost perfect. My only complain would be the music and the voice. The music is chill but gets on my nerves really quickly as it's a pretty short loop and the voice could be more punchy and have some kind of effects like distortion. Otherwise it's top notch.
PS: I love how I can modify the menu.
Thank you for the constructive feedback! This was my first time ever making music and it took me a really long time just to make the short loop that's in the game. I wish I could have gave the sound more attention in general, but I had to move on and finish the rest of the game...
You're not the first person to be confused about level 7, the solution is to get the displays to read 1, 2, 3, 4.
Felt like I was fabricating my circuit boards back at the university, but without all the jumpers haha. Great game!
Wow! This game was very polished and JUICY. I was really impressed with the artwork and visual effects. The audio also did a great job complementing the style you were going for. What software did you do to make the game assets?

This really felt polished (and pretty difficult!). I liked how the game 'felt'. It really did feel like I was trying to wire up Real Doohickies. I never quite 100% figured out exactly how the wires worked, so I did a lot of trial and error (which again, felt pretty fun to do since connecting things felt pretty satisfying). Music and Graphics looked great and I really liked the digital art effects. Really solid entry.
yea, that's a skill I'm trying to learn too (with games and just in general trying to explain things to people). and yea, it was neat playing and interacting with the pieces and kinda "feeling" the heft of them as I swung them around to connect things together. I almost want a Free-Play mode where I can put together my own circuits :)
A very polished game experience! Extremely juicy sounds and visual effects.
