Cool game! Really challenging concept, nicely-executed. Well done!
Move the dice around is fun and the controls are simple and clean.
The game plays well with a meaty challenge for anyone wishing to meet it. It has a small tendency to over use invisible walls a bit in order to guide the player, but it never felt like I lost due to any invisible walls. The limit on how many moves you can make is quite good as it gives you an added thing to worry about. Overall I enjoyed the game and I think the art style while simplistic fit.
I tried to play it like golf at first, but once I figured out you could roll again before landing, I had fun building up speed and zooming through the level. I wish the level design was built around that more, because the cramped mazes with death traps, blind drops, and dead ends that wasted dice rolls weren't nearly as fun. I feel like this could be a really good speedrun game with the right levels and a more zoomed out camera.
Pretty nice game! Was fun to keep the dice in the air + the red obstacles provided some good challenge. It always felt a bit off whenever I hit the sky collider so maybe some visual to show you cant go past that would be good + if it only makes you stop vertically and not horizontally.
This is a nice game, I think if you polished it up and ported it to mobile it would work great with the controls. My one critique is that the fact the player is a die doesn't have any consequence on the gameplay, but I understand you made this on vacation on a laptop so I totally understand the fact that aspect isn't there. You did a great job, love it!
Nice game! You did a great job increasing the difficulty as you went along and kind of including previews of what hard things will come next. I loved how simple the controls were, and that you didnt really need to worry about it being 3d and going off track. You did a great job, and the fact you did it on vacation with a laptop makes it super impressive.
Haha wow, I started off being frustrated and then loved playing it. Particularly enjoyed the way the level progression forced you to increase your skill with making the dice fly around. Really fun.
Pretty decent game, simple idea and no confusion on where you needed to go. I like that you can jump while in the air, it's really fun to fly around at mach 7!
Pretty fun and nice controls. Simple, easy to learn.
Well that was a good idea. Simple controls and easy to understand goals. I quite liked the puzzle like dexterity concept of flinging the die around to get it to the end. music was a nice background filler and it was fun to complete. I think the main thing I didnt like was the invisible ceiling. I was never sure how high up I could go. Level 2 felt like it was a little too low of a ceiling. Good job for a jam game!
This game has satisfying controls and was a creative take on the theme.
At first I thought "Oh ok, you just drag the die and it jumps into the direction." but then I noticed you can do it while the die is in the air.
That makes things really enjoyable honestly, to the point I couldn't let it go until I beat stage 6.
You say " don't expect anything too good!", but I actually had a fun time with this : )
I really liked the game! It was relaxing, to drag those dice and be quick! It fits the theme well, and a good entry for the jam!
BEST OF LUCK:)
There is something really satisfying about dragging your dice and building momentum. It scratches an itch and makes you wanna go as fast as possible. A really enjoyable entry for a 48 - hour game jam :)
thanks!
Love the concept, I like it, very fun take on the theme. I could play this for an hour and not get bored.
Cool game ! I like it ! I think you could have added some more textures but it is cool !
A very good take on the theme. It was hard understanding what to do at first but i managed to figure it out quickly. Overall, a nice and simple game with a great mechanic. Good job <3
thanks :)
I absolutely love this game! It plays a bit like a golf game but it's such a genius incorporation of the dice theme :> The art style is very easy on the eyes and communicates what each map element means very well, and the music was super enjoyable and relaxing :> I think my one criticism with this game would be that the camera feels a bit too close to the player and it can make hazards a little hard to anticipate when they're not visible from farther away. But overall this was a total blast to play and I loved it! :> (PS I feel like a speedrun mode would be very enjoyable if you decide to continue updating)
thanks for the feedback :)
i'm considering doing a few updates and also making this in to a mobile game so i may add your suggestion!
Nice little game. I like how easy it is move the dice and think it works really well.
