This game's art was really good and the gameplay was really good too. Presentation was top notch too. Props to you, Good job !!
Thanks for the feedback, I’m glad you enjoyed it :)!
I like the graphics they are cute :). Eating animation and sound effect is very addictive.
For attacking I would prefer attacking direction with mouse. When attacking enemies I think a knockback effect would be nice hit reaction.
Good job overall.
Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed it, I’ll keep your feedback in mind for next time :)
I liked the visuals, especially eating animation (and that crunchy sound - great stuff).
The game concept is nice, however I have some issue with it. Each time a body is eaten there could be a random effect that would be either +1 or -1 to one of the stats, right?. I don't know how probable it is to get each result, but looking at the ui I assume it's 50-50. Then theoretically when I eat 1000 bodies and each time get "max health" stat I would statistically get +500 and -500 max health. So statistically those effects from eating bodies don't do much (in general).
Ok, I'm done boring everyone with math now :D
The game's fine and I can't stress enough, how that arrow helps out finding enemies, thank you for adding that!
Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed it though!
Nice art, I liked the pixelated effects, they were done well. That said, it took me a while to realise that it was an arrow above my head. You could consider making it clearer. I was also wondering what the swirling lights were. I did enjoy my time playing it, however I stopped because it got too easy, and didn't appear to be changing much. Good job though.
Thanks for your feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed the art!
It's an interesting idea to devour opponents to improve yourself, but the game gets really boring after 3 minutes. I like the lighting effects, as well as the sprites, but unfortunately the game doesn't really offer any content. But thumbs up for the fact that you can adjust the volume. That's not possible with most games either.
Thanks for feedback!
The art for this is really cute but I can't help but think that I was actually the bad guy all along...
Haha, I’m glad you enjoyed it though!
It's a cute game and I had fun playing! My feedback would be that the main mechanic seemed redundant/without impact esp. for speed witch starts at 50. Also I would suggest favouring the positive upgrades over the negative ones since humans usually remember negative things longer and can't estimate their chances unbiased. So maybe display 50/50 but actually do 60/40 or even more. Helps with players not getting frustrated thinking they are on a loosing streak.
Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Really adorable art, I did find that overtime it was a bit easy to survive but still really charming game
Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed the art, but I figure with more variety it could get more fun after a while.
It's very cute, but it doesn't do much of anything with the theme.
Thanks for the feedback! I interpreted the theme as having random mechanics, which is what the wheel did.
Decently fun. Combat is kinda boring and could feel better. Also, the random stat change feels a bit pointless.
Thanks for the feedback! I added the wheel/random stat change, because that was my interpretation of the theme, but I do agree that combat could have been improved upon.
Damn, i ended up with 0 strength haha
Haha, unlucky! I definitely should’ve added some sort of forgiveness to stop that from happening.
Bigger and more aggressive waves would have made the game more interesting. Very cute visuals tho!
Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Nice visuals. I think slashing at enemies could feel better however I appreciate listening to the peaceful music while consuming the corpses of my enemies.
fun game but the combat is a bit dull as the enemy almost always hits you if you are able to hit them. Also a bit too easy but i like the cuteness of the character and the wheel for upgrades idea.
Thanks for the feedback! I wanted to add more enemies that had different mechanics but was short on time. I’m sure that added variety would have helped immensely with the easiness and dull combat.
Cute character but the game is too easy
Thanks! I do agree that the game could’ve had more variety and different challenges as well.
Fun idea, and adorable character and chewing noise. I think biasing the +/- effects to things like +damage/speed and -health would drive the game to more high risk high reward, making things much harder after a few rounds. Nice work!
Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
As Pickle Ostrich said it could be more challenging, but the graphics and sound design are very well done!
Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you liked the graphics and sounds. If I had more time I definitely would’ve put more time into balancing and implementing different kinds of enemies.
Its way too easy
Thanks for the feedback! If I had more time I definitely would’ve created more kinds of enemies that have different weapons and other tweaks.
yeah the timeline kills a lot of stuff
