Thanks for the feedback! I’ve really been meaning to update the game, but haven’t had much time to get around to doing so. Hopefully that update will include performance boosts and some automation so the game isn’t too click-intensive. Again, I’m really glad you enjoyed the game, and thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback, I’m glad you enjoyed it! I tried to make the game have a little bit of challenge with the inability to pick cards, and I think with more cards that had a more balanced spread of abilities it would’ve been a lot better and easier to effectively play, rather than getting lucky with random cards.

Thanks for the feedback! I was planning on modifying the game to include that if I had time at the end, but I ended up running out of time, and unfortunately never got around to it.

Very fun game, and the implementation of the theme and special object, i found that to be very creative. One issue I had, mainly at the start, was that I didn’t really understand how to play the game. I think it was a bug though, because once I refreshed I could submit my turn? Outside of that, when it did work properly, I had a lot of fun.

I enjoyed this game alot but some of the issues i found were already shared in the comments, mainly that the game space was way too big and the camera was too slow. I think with a tutorial and some polish this game could be quite a lot better, but still, very nice job!

Very fun game! I could really see this game becoming a fully-fledged game with a little bit of polish. I really enjoyed it (maybe that’s because I’m a fan of tower defense? haha). I was a little confused about the card selection because tit seemed like sometimes it wasn’t working, but other times it seemed to work perfectly.

Fun game with a lot of cute little features, like the monster growing. One thing I would’ve probably done differently is the monster, since it feels like a long time waiting for the monster to eat both cards and fall back off screen inbetween. But very nice job, it’s a fun and enjoyable short game!

Haha, sound is definitely my weakest point and I didn’t really have much time leftover to work on it in this jam. Thanks for the feedback though :-)

Thanks for the suggestion, the little arrow inside the player is supposed to point towards the player, but it’s pretty hard to navigate around the map. I messed around with the camera following the player and not, but I figured it was easier to make it follow the vector so you could see more because of navigational difficulty. Now that I’m thinking about it, maybe some way to switch between the two cameras would’ve worked. Thanks for the comment though! I really appreciate the feedback :).

Thanks for the feedback, I’m glad you enjoyed it :)!

Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed it, I’ll keep your feedback in mind for next time :)

Thanks for your feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed the art!

Thanks for feedback!

Great game, loved the interpretation on the theme here.

Fun game! Reminded me of angry birds, but in a good way! I really loved the random comments that show up when you destroy a piece.

Really fun game. Might be one of my favorites in this jam. One thing I think you could’ve done was add a tutorial and possibly more enemy variety, but other than that it was really enjoyable to play!

Cool concept, bit difficult and I think if you added some more visual feedback when changing the sides or something it would feel alot better.

Fun game, visuals were a bit lacking though. I also couldn’t really see where the random shots come in, but maybe I didn’t play long enough.

Haha, unlucky! I definitely should’ve added some sort of forgiveness to stop that from happening.

Thanks for the feedback! I added the wheel/random stat change, because that was my interpretation of the theme, but I do agree that combat could have been improved upon.

Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks for the feedback! I wanted to add more enemies that had different mechanics but was short on time. I’m sure that added variety would have helped immensely with the easiness and dull combat.

Thanks! I do agree that the game could’ve had more variety and different challenges as well.

Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks for the feedback! I interpreted the theme as having random mechanics, which is what the wheel did.

Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed the art, but I figure with more variety it could get more fun after a while.

Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you liked the graphics and sounds. If I had more time I definitely would’ve put more time into balancing and implementing different kinds of enemies.

Thanks for the feedback! If I had more time I definitely would’ve created more kinds of enemies that have different weapons and other tweaks.

Super fun game! I definitely played this longer than I should have. At first, I was confused on how to play though. So if I’d change anything it would definitely have to be a tutorial. Other than that, it’s definitely a great game!

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for the tips! I’m fairly new to godot, so I haven’t really experimented much with it, so I really appreciate your suggestions! Nice to see other people using godot too, haha.

Thanks! I honestly didn’t think of that one, for sure would’ve added some extra challenge, haha

Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Great game! Didn't realize at first that two sides were different. Maybe instead of returning you to before you chose the side, return you to the menu where you can chose to upgrade stats? I really enjoyed trying to dodge the enemies.
