Not a bad game, I especially liked the gameplay, but it seems to me that it would not be worth mixing sprites of different resolutions.

Thanks for playing, and thanks for the feedback, I’ll keep that in mind for the next time!

Love the pixel art and map! The cards are cool, but I did have trouble since the cards that increase my troop's power didn't work. But overall good game.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Your monsters power is only boosted by a card that matches their type, which may have been the issue. Thanks for the feedback.

Very fun game, and the implementation of the theme and special object, i found that to be very creative. One issue I had, mainly at the start, was that I didn’t really understand how to play the game. I think it was a bug though, because once I refreshed I could submit my turn? Outside of that, when it did work properly, I had a lot of fun.

The art is lovely and all goes together well, the balancing was done pretty well enjoyed the deck building aspect. However I played 4 games and was only able to make it past 2 card choice screens in all 4. So I didn't really get to build my deck, which sucks because some of the power up cards are cool.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I’ll be looking to squash these bugs following the jam.

This was neat!!! I feel like the balancing was well done and the deck building added a lot of depth to the game, I wish there was a little more feedback when selecting cards though as it was a little confusing at first

This game is very well made and has great theme implementation. I loved the story how we are the monsters killing the villages. Great Game!

I love the idea of raiding village by monsters and the mechanics that some villagers counter some types of monsters (for example vampire take extra dmg from garlic or guy with silver sword deals more dmg to warewolf). Thats cool!

Graphics and audio are chariming and climatic.

If I could give you some advice, I would add more clear information about why your choise is good against some villagers and reverse. Sometimes I picked zombie against garlic, and I got hit or miss understanded the game visuals. Also in level 3 if I remember correctly there was villager with gun, with power of 5 and the maximum power I saw on my cards was 4 on a Warewolf, also I could only chose 1 card, so I didn’t know what to do and I lost. However as a game jam game made in few days, good work, keep it up ^^

Nice pixel art and nice game idea!
Unfortunatly the game froze when I tried to choose my 0-Blood-Bag upgrade.

I got the error in an alert box: "RuntimeError: index out of bounds".

That’s a shame, my apologies. I’m aiming to remedy some of these issues post-jam. Thanks for taking the time to play!
