Never thought I'd have fun sifting through errors on DnD sheets lol. Nicely done, thanks! Here's a link to my playthrough https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1542931595?t=01h41m33s
Superb game - escalates in complexity really well, with a great mix of rule content to test the player in different ways. I found balance felt really good, there's a whole lot of tension throughout which was great at tripping me up, but mistakes never felt as though they were punished too harshly with plenty of time to recover if you were able to remain calm and get a few correct calls quickly.
Presentation is great, from the way the music is warped and distorted as time runs low to the sfx which fit perfectly, to the visual style which was clean but still felt authentic to hand-drawn character sheets.
My current high score is 40 completed with 6 errors, but I'll be trying to beat that!
Interesting concept! Very fun:)
Nice play on the papers please theme. Well polished, I really liked how the music was distorting as time run out. Great job overall.
I loved papers please. I think you defiantly hit the feel of it. Nice presentation!
Really really great entry, played for quite a while. Did manage to make it freeze at the end, but enjoyed the time.
Not a D&D player at all, but started memorizing requirements pretty quickly!
Great job on the concept, visuals, sounds, basically everything
Incredibly well done super polished game. Love the art style and how ever interactor has visual indicators. Great job with the sound effects. Super satisfying pencil scratches and bell dings. I love that the music speeds up the less time you have. Fantastic job.
I love Papers, Please so I really enjoyed this! The rules were complicated at first, but everything made sense once you go it into practice. I would have liked a tab system in the rule book to cut down on the time it took flipping each page one by one. The music speed change was fitting and made me nervous. Very cool game! Good job!
Wow, this is wonderful! This critique is a little weird, but I actually wish the rules were simpler. That way, it could be the same difficulty but be more fun because that experience of handling multiple rules is what makes this experience particularly interesting. Anyways, excellent work. Super fun and well presented.
Absolutely delightful game, the experience of checking your players character sheets to make sure they don't get away with anything wild is a universal experience for DMs and gamifying it in this way was an amazing idea. Full marks.
Fun and creative, though there is definitely a difficulty spike near the beginning.
nice tribute to papers please! loved it
Great job!! 😀
I LOVE this. Brings chills. Audio is neat, every bit of polished is well done, graphics are impeccable. I like how you decided to fit the theme, it'es genuinely a great idea! 5 all across the board for me!
Loved this one for how it takes on the theme! Just a fantastic game all around! Great work!
Amazing work, I really liked this one a lot. If I were to wish for anything else, it would be to have some kind of narrative aspect like paper's please (although i'm well aware it may not have been possible as a jam game haha). like a little funny blurb showing WHY the dm banned drow from the game, maybe we follow the story of a dnd style weekly adventure where a wizard kills like 30 people with a greataxe and the next night you start enforcing that rule, etc. as it is now it's still pretty fun but it's a bit less engaging imo. i gotta say though, i LOVE where you took this theme and how it looks haha
Very interesting concept ! Turning RPG character sheet creation into a game is quite inventive, well done ! There are quickly way more rules than my brain can remember, but it's a fun challenge ! Well done !
Damn, this game may have finally convinced me to try out DnD!
What else to say, well-polished, no errors, plays like a charm
Created an account just to say I love this game!
It's a concept I never thought about but it is obviously brilliant once I see it. I can almost hear the DM grunt every time I reject a sheet.
Would really love to see this idea be further developed!
Very cool, reminded me of Papers, Please and as a DM I'm always a sucker for Dnd themed games
