It feels like a full-fledged RPG, you got equipement upgrades, surprise encounters, hidden spaces… Really amazed at what you delivered! Solid entry!

Nice little simplified concept that allows you to build a RPG in 2 days. Fits the theme very nicely. Some good "Slay the Spire" vibes in this game.

Very interesting game, nice job!

Interesting concept!

Very cool style, the music and art is whacky and its pretty cool.
To add more strategy to the game maybe you would first roll dice 1, than dice 2 and than dice 3, for example, you would be able to roll the stun dice, than if it stunned you would know not to use the defense, or first roll the mulltiplier dice and than if its good throw the attack, if its bad throw defense.
Very cool concept, great execution 👍

I can't overstate how much I loved the style, assuming you keep moving forward on this project I'd say get the enemies implemented in the same 3D style as the dice, map, and cup.

I played through once and died to the serpent who was pretty tough. I think there needs to be some reward or tradeoff for winning a battle otherwise it's better to just avoid them at all costs. I also think it'd be cool to have more option combinations when progressing through the map (I only played once so I could have just not seen them!). I read about the bug and ended up skipping the yellow dice completely but it of course would have been more fun to be able to use it and have interesting effects.

In the game I made you can customize dice, it might be cool to implement something like that for the yellow dice, that could even be the rewards you get from beating enemies; the yellow dice effects or a currency to buy them in a special map spot.

Thanks for making the game, it was fun! Please check out and rate my game if you have a chance!

I like the enemies and the style, the game play was a little to random even after upgrades, after upgrading the attack a few times you could still find yourself rolling a one. Maybe have the upgrade could be a +1 to roll or it adds an additional dice?

Love the whole mood of the game, art and music are great!  Loved the concept too and played to the end.  As is by the end of the game I was always choosing the first three dice though and against the final boss it didn't feel like there was much I could do to win outside of being lucky.  With more dice options and decisions to make and more interesting enemy attacks could see this being super fun

I enjoyed giving your game a go today, I liked the character art and animations especially! Would be interested to hear what you'd have done with the battle system given more time.

I'm on camera trying your game here if you'd like to see, a timestamp link to your game is in the description!

Thanks so much for playing our game! We appreciate the feedback and we'll definitely look into reworking the modifier dice after the game jam is complete.

We did some testing and the modifier dice seems to not work unless you click it last. It has been added to our big list ! Thank you so much for playing our game !!

Very fun game! I enjoyed the dice upgrading mechanic, upgrading from a d4 to a d6 makes logical sense and helps to solidify exactly what type of upgrade you are getting. If you wanted to improve I suggest improving the map in between levels, I was never completely sure what i was looking at. Overall great game!

Battle artwork is GREAT, but the map is hard to see. Good concept though with the strategy of choosing which 3 to roll and how multipliers can be affected.

I love the concept, I love that between the music and the visuals you managed to make a creepy atmosphere, and I love that you made an RPG that functions for a game jam! This is great work, it would be great to see what happens if you spend more time with it!

Very cool game, good art, ran well; I  was very excited by the upgrade system. I kinda stuck to using the same dice, I would have liked more info on what my opponents are up to so I could change up my strategy more .

Addictive! Opponents apparently have protection, because when I have to deal 4 damage, only 3 or even 2 are dealt. I could not defeat the snake girl, I spent a lot of attempts. There should be a fountain and three upgrades before the snake girl, two upgrades are too few. The game is hard, but in the right way. I was very pleased! Well done!

I like this game.  Although the idea is not brand new, the execution still is fun to play!

The info button for the dice is sometimes hard to activate and I recommend to have a broader overview on the map.  But given the two days time, this is probably something for the next version.
