Nice and intresting game! love the artstyle!

This was a fun score based challenge. A different take on the die rolling genre.

Fantastic work on the art and animation. Very cool use of theme. Reminded me of Minecraft Spleef. You should add rules explanation though. I though you had to get the exact number initially. Super fun game. Great job.

A beautiful submission <3 I love the way you played with the weird behaviors of a rolling die for puzzles, but I had trouble visualizing the state of the die at any time. I wonder if having some way to see every side of the die would allow the player to make more informed choices.

Cool idea and nice presentation, however I may be too dumb for this lol

Really neat concept for the target !

Great game idea!

What I liked?

- The concept of survival per floor is stressful but fun, it needs to think wisely before moving its dice

- The pixel 3D art is really good, the animation of the Character is satisfying when moving

Other comments:

- A little music would have been nice for the global ambiance

Overall nice work!

Exactly fit the theme!

Great game! It took me some time to understand how the game works, but once I did it clicked. This was already pointed out in the comments, but I really like the inclusion of 3 levels to represent lives.

I felt like after getting the die in a position with a good value it's always best to just roll it in and out for 1 cell, which gets pretty repetitive, but I can't really come up with any way to change that.

In any case, good job!

This is a really fun and interesting concept!

Nice job with this. Took me a few movements to understand how the floor tiles were breaking and all that but overall picked it up pretty quickly and enjoyed the lite-puzzling of it.  I also really liked the art style and overall theme, it looked great!

Very intresting take on a dice roller puzzle and one of those games where the platform falls beneath you! I love the isometric style of the game and overall it just looks great!

Awesome job!

Very nice presentation, but can get a little bit confusing at moments

So cool - love the aesthetic, especially the tiles which I just find really appealing. It's been pointed out elsewhere in the comments, but the use of the tower rather than a simple lives counter is wonderful and adds a lot of character.

Gameplay is fun and well balanced, with plenty of strategy once the holes start appearing. It escalates nicely in difficulty too.

Managed to get a highscore of 12

Thank you. Nice to hear it. Great score!

First of all, great presentation. Just like Force Reboot, the usage of pixel art in a 3D environment here is superbly implemented.

The idea behind the main mechanic is interesting, but I wasn't a big fan of the execution, mainly because for the longest time, I thought the die face causing damage was the top one, not the bottom one. Considering I can't quite see any of the faces except for the top one and the front one, controlling which one hits the target was a bit finnicky.

Also, as every push causes a roll, the distance between the last target and the next one becomes the main deciding factor on whether I survive or not. Yes, I could manipulate its position to get the 6-face in there, but considering every time I move the tile becomes weaker, I don't feel very encouraged to do so - is it really worth to damage so many tiles just to get the perfect face?

Still, I mostly had fun with this game, even with these problems. Like some here have also said, turning health into physical, actual levels was a pretty smart idea, and one that was probably not trivial to implement. So basically, the main idea and the presentation were well developed, but some of the game design choices were questionable. Considering this jam only lasts 48h, it's still a pretty good result.

Thank you for this feedback! Very helpful. Yeap, this roll manipulating thing is a big problem. I've got some ideas how to fix it but unfortunately it's 48h and I didn't have the time to impliment it.

Very nice entry! 💙🖤 I've seen a couple ideas similar to this one but the addition of holes in levels spawned by too many steps and crushing through one level to the next makes it really unique and fun to play. Also the art is great. Overall amazing.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! It was really important for me to create something unique in someway. I'm glad I made it. It actually was my first GameJam :)

Really cool game! I like that it's different from a lot of the 'move the dice to the right square' puzzle games i've scene. I also really love that the difficulty is kinda self-imposed with the falling platforms. All around, a really well delivered game!

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad that this concept turns out a bit different from another match-side games!

Amazing! I really like the art, sounds, and chilling gameplay!

Developer

Thank you!

This rocks, at first  I thought it was another match-the-side puzzle game but it was much more unique than that. Falling down the tower when you fail is a very cool visual alternative to a simple lives counter. Really nice work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Glad you like it. At first I was thinking about creating math-the-side puzzle but after some testing I find out that this is too hard (especially with falling platforms) and I turn it into this one.

Submitted(+1)

I'm glad you changed what you were going for! It's cool and unique this way

Developer(+1)

Yeap. It's also more dynamic and fun to play like this.

Interesting take on the genre, nice blend of 2D with 3D, satisfying sounds. 10/10
