Very novel concept! Love the idea of having to adapt on the fly to the constraints given to you. Although I think level 4 could be impossible if you roll high enough given the short timer.

Great job!

Like the idea a lot. also a bit twicking the colors will make it look amazing.
Though the feel of the game is off. You need to add coyote time, change how gravity works a bit and all the good stuff (check game Platformer toolkit on itch.io). It will make it so much better.
Also some sound will be nice.

great game for 48 hours! Keep making more :)

Nice idea, I like the concept. It does get interesting when you can't just jump over things, but the blocks are actually moving quickly and you have to dash in between them. I'd love to see some extra mechanics added, because the base is pretty solid. Nicely done!

Bit heavy on the RNG, making certain levels either a cakewalk or near-impossible. Very simple, but still a fun enough concept to hold my attention for the entire game.

A nice concept. The RNG re-rolling every time did kinda mean you could just die until an easy challenge appeared - but the opposite is also true ofc.

Good job~

Simple game with an interesting concept on the die rolling.
Had a fair bit of fun with this and it reminded me of old flash games from newgrounds and miniclip!
Would have benefitted from some sprites and sound effects but overall a decent submission.
Good work!

Solid game, solid idea, I just think it could've used some more polish (sprites, sfx, etc.)

Good idea with the collectibles, but some difficulty tweaking may be needed.

While the idea is interesting I did not find the game much fun. The amounts rolled were often the same or close, which made most levels trivial. And when you did not roll equal numbers you can just restart the level and try again.

I liked how some of the levels played when you rolled high on one number and low on the other. However a problem with rerolling every death is the player can end up just rerolling a level over and over again until the rolls make the level very easy.

The gameplay intensity really shoots up depending on the number you pull. Interesting game, good job.

Interesting game!

This is maybe the game that made me want to write a comment to the most.

For one there is the aspect of the roll of the dice that can make the levels easier or harder, and while this is the main gimmick and I have nothing against it, it feels weird to have the roll of the dice different every new attempt at a level, as you couldn’t try again and better to find a plan to collect whatever the requested amount of boxes was, you’ll have to collect a different amount. That being said, if the dice were to be rolled once you start a level and stay the same till you clear it that would steal the excitement to try new combinations as they come and to get a sorta deeper understanding of the level as a whole, and not just a particular roll of dice.

Then, maybe there should be a finish point you have to run to with the correct amount of collected boxes to end the level, to add an extra dimension to the player’s planning of the solution, as IMO it feels a little bit like cheating when you get to collect the last required box of whatever color you didn’t finish first and automatically win. Maybe not, as that feeling of cheating is, well, kinda great in a way…

What a game… It is a little bit sad to me that there are too few levels, but as a 2 day jam this is totally understandable…

Clever idea! Sometimes the dice rolls made the levels a bit too hard and the next roll made them a breeze. would have loved more levels and audio.

This was a lot of fun! Far more than i first expected from the concept. Having to remember what you picked up and planning a route for it was quite challenging and the levels played with that concept well. The platforming itself was unfortunately pretty frustrating at times - didn’t bring the game down though!

Overall, nice work!

Wow, I didn't think I would have that much fun! Keeping track of the amount of boxes for each color, doing the level fast was pretty fun and challenging to do! I really like the level design, as the level is not really endless, or just random, but the levels were hand-crafted very well, but you had to do a different route of collecting the boxes each time you restart! I really wish there were some more levels becuase this is really fun! I think this game definetly deserves more attention!

I gotta admit that the screenshots weren't selling it for me (what can I say, I never had an 2600), but mechanically this really, really smart. You managed to create procedurally generated "levels" without making different levels, and I felt like despite having the same environment my muscle memory didn't save me. A interesting gem from this jam.

It seems easy at first, but it actually takes skills!

Liked. wish there were more levels.

I really liked this game. I didn't expect the moving blocks. Nice surprise.

I wish there was a bit more graphics and music, but I'm glad you focused on the gameplay.

I said "oh crap" three times while playing, so it was definitely exciting :)
