Really nice job here! It's quick and just the right length that I'll always have time for just one more go, to try and beat my personal best. I really like it, good job!
A nice way to approach the theme. The shooting enemies did some spawn kills to me but otherwise it played just fine. I like the art style, and I think some music could add up to the atmosphere. Nicely done!
Thank you! The shooter levels are annoying. Added enemy bullets at the very last minute without testing them. Brave but foolish. ππ
Very cool art direction, really liked it.
It was cool that those minigame levels were getting progressively harder (if only a bit), so that you're not stuck in a loop of doing the same things over and over again.
That said, I still think it needs more variety, but I know that might've been impossible due to jam time limitations. Still, very solid game :)
So an unusual art style and I like this! I think maybe try to add different mechanics on your levels (which are on the side of the dice), like in the game Dumb ways to die where you need to run or just donβt do anything, or draw a circle to complete the level. Anyway, good idea and great work!
Love the general idea, the randomness of level order and characters! The timer is nerve-racking, which is a good thing, but I wish there would be some optimizations for it - maybe automatic dice roll between levels, timer stopping or winding a bit bick back during cutscenes. The visuals are great, I love the combination of 2d and 3d space. Great job!
Thank you for your feedback! I agree on all of your points.
A fun game to play for a while that looks very nice! I got to 8 stars! Though I guess the possible highscore depends on luck with the time of game you play best. Overall a very nice job for the jam!
I was playing on my stream! Here's a recording in case you'd like to see it
Thank you for playing and streaming my game.
You're right that roll of the dice has a big impact on high score hunt. π
Cool little game! Loved the presentation, and the concept reminds me a bit of WarioWare. I guess my only issues are that I feel like the die might as well be rolled automatically, and just that it could use more variety in the challenges for each type. Still, what you managed to build in the time constraints of the jam is pretty cool!
Thank you for your feedback!
Really loved the presentation. And the mini game concept is really neat and easy to figure out.
Great concept and I loved the art. I think what was missing for me was feeling challenged. Once I understood the game, none of the levels really required much critical thinking or dexterity/precision. If the challenges were a bit harder I think this game could be great.
Thank you! I agree. Even randomizing each level a bit would make it more challenging and interesting.
This was not only a great concept, but was implemented really well! The aesthetics fit the game great, and the pacing felt just right. Only thing I would want would be more variety with the levels, but the amount of content you have here is really impressive as it is for 48 hours.
Thank you for your feedback!
great Art style
The game aesthetics are super cute!
I like the desk items and the whole theme of the game, as in the game is drawn on a notebook and game accessories are items on the desk. It's really adorable! I tried to speed run and got 8 stars. I dunno if that's world pace or not xD.
Amazing game, amazing work!
Thank you!
I think 10 is doable. π
Pretty solid game! Great visual style and the core gameplay loop was interesting and refreshing. I think I would've preferred if there was some way to extend the timer, each time you complete a level, because it ends pretty fast, even if you are doing well. Overall, great work!
I had an idea of having additional risk/reward dice that could grant you extra time or summon enemies to the level. Did not start to implement it when it was already sunday morning. π
This was really well presented and creative, nice amount of variation and quick to get through!
Very good presentation, could use some music, but thats ok for a game jam. Loved the idea, very fun to play, however on platforming part it could feel a little stiff in the air, but other than that, very good!
Thank you for your feedback!
The platforming feels absolutley horrible. However, I didn't think that was the point in this game, so I didn't polish it one bit. It is weird to say this when talking about such crucial thing as game feel. π
Amazing concept.
I loved how each game was drawn in the same doodle style and they were all fun little minigames.
I would suggest adding more time, or removing the timer entirely. I just wanted to play more.
Great stuff!
Thank you! Longer timer was a consideration. For future fixes, first set of minigames could be played in a minute. Timer could be extended when you unlock more games.
Or just add like 5-10 seconds for each minigame you beat.
Really cool game! I would suggest a no-timer mode to be able to play all of them, I want to play the more difficult ones :)
Yeah, the timer is a bit merciless. Freeplay Mode would be great addition.
A nice set of random games to switch between an d a really interesting art style to go along with. A mix of hand drawn and a 3D environment to give it some context is a great idea. And I really enjoyed the different drawings for the games and such.
One thing I wills ay though is that the lighting looked a little off on some of the 3D parts. As well as the texturing on the stars, at least compared to the relative drawing realism of the paper.
Also some of the games were definitely easier than others, which to be fair is kind of the point of the randomization and makes it more interesting than if they were all just as easy. What I will say though is that the "space invaders": style game, was quite difficult if you die because of the fact that the bullets do not despawn on death. Which means they will hit you 3-4 times before disappearing. Which leads to quite a lot of a deaths and lost runs due to a bullet constantly murdering me.
Thank you for thorough feedback! Space Invader levels remained buggy. I was squirming when I watched it punishing you on stream. π
I really like the style of this game! The art is super cute. The games are also simple and pretty well executed; it just feels a little off-balance. It really depends on what games you get whether or not you can beat your high score.
Thank you! The game definitely has balancing issues.
Great game. I don't see much issues. Maybe longer and bigger levels with more time.
