How does your game fit the theme?
Instead of parents protecting kids, children are guarding them from horrifying nightmare monsters. As well as, instead of the oldest brother being the bravest & strongest one, the youngest one is the mighty sword of the family.

i love the art and animation! it feels really good and responsive
I would have enjoyed more clear instructions how the going to sleep and then changing characters works. Aside of that a great finished game with a lot of gamejuice!
Unfortunately I'm not sure I understood exactly what to do in regards to going to sleep. I kept killing the monsters and then realizing my time had run out (would be nice if there was a sound effect when it was close to ending). When swapping to the other characters I could sleep sometimes and even once put the "main" character to sleep as another character, but I wasn't able to get them to sleep all at the same time :/
The game is intriguing enough that I tried a few times and want to know more!
Awesome gameplay loop, cute art and music, and really creative idea and design! My only complaint was how confusing the sleep was, I almost gave up trying to learn it before going into the comment section to see how others figured it out. Once I did, though I was pretty glad because this is a really cool game!
The idea is very cool. Great work there. I wish it was a bit more obvious to tell when you had to switch characters. Like a last minute "switch to this person now!"
I like it! Always enoyed the idea of having multiple characters that you can switch between, it allows for interesting interactions and mechanics and this game handles it quite well! It can be a bit confusing but overall it's a nice game and I also really like how it looks!
Great concept, the game is really dynamic and enjoyable! Really well polished for a 48 hour jam, too. Well done!
I had fun playing this game, maybe a little bit more visual and sound clarity to tell to the player when he/she's in danger will be a great plus. Anyway well done !
Very cute graphics and a cool concept, I found it kind of weird to understand at some points and it was confusing not having some kind of feedback for when you are in "danger" and should change to a specific character, but it might just be that I'm not great at changing the characters fast though. Pretty fun anyways :)
The gameplay is very dynamic with the constant character changes, loved it.
But there were occasional issues with the sleep input. If I was too close to the bed while the other two characters were sleeping, the input would be ignored, for instance.
Nonetheless, the game is very charming and has intriguing mechanics. Highly entertaining!
Good alliteration on the title, haha
The gameplay was very engaging! Lots of going back and forth between the two main guys and trying to get rid of the jesters & enemies. I kept forgetting about the timer and sending everyone back to sleep, oops. The sound effects & music worked well with the game, and the characters have a nice unique cutesy style!
Good job!
Nice work for 48 hours. I am mostly just confused on how exactly to stop the timer in the bottom right from going down to zero.
Cute! well done!
I really liked the idea that you need to constantly switch between characters, but I don't understand win/lose condition, so I keep losing ;-(
Can you include more information about game rules in game description?
Awesome game! Mechanics were a little tricky to get the hang of, but overall very good job!
What a lovely game! The initial briefing was a little harsh with all the information, but the gameplay is solid. And a really cool setting, with all the touches like he character names and the flavor text. I'm a sucker for such things.
i love this idea! all three brothers are full of character, and their playstyles are all very distinct. it took me a bit of fiddling around to figure out the sleep stuff, but once the other two are sleeping, it works best for zoodle to go to the foot of the bed and sleep instead of standing on top of it. unfortunately, when i finally figured it out i accidentally put zigzag right back to sleep and couldn't figure out how to wake him up, so i lost wave 2 pretty quickly :(
sleeping shenanigans aside, this is a wonderful little arcadey game! three characters feels like the sweet spot: enough that i can't just go on autopilot, but not so many that it's impossible to play. i wonder if switching characters at any distance could work, maybe with buttons for switching back/forward? that way you could spread out more with zigly and zigzag, and you'd need to be more careful with making sure zoodle can get to everyone before the time runs out!
the presentation is wonderful on this. music is well-chosen and suits the theme perfectly, and the art (especially the brothers' designs!) is charming. well done! i'm gonna come back to this later and try to do better, hehe
Very cool concept! Love the swift character gameplay! Art is cool too!
Awesome game! Nice pixel art and cute character designs. Controls are snappy as well. Gameplay is fun enough to keep playing with the sounds and all the little animations. Good Job!
I was a bit overwhelmed when learning the controls but it was easy to grasp once I started playing. Didn't understand the sleep mechanic though. I get a game over even when I sleep before the timer runs out. I also like the aesthetics.
