Fun game, I like the music !
Great game! Loved the concept, and art style is spot on. Awesome job :D
I was confuzzled at first what pussy to play with but I understood and it was super fun ganging up on that mouse!
It really feels an an alternate-reality Pac-Man game! The presentation is very clean. It feels a bit easy, though, since the other cats were very competent at getting the mouse. It might be cool if there were multiple mice out at once, forcing the player to manually divide the cats up. Good job!
The game was very fun and it looked very good
Maybe sometimes the cats controled by the computer win the game too fast but that was the only problem
When the game started it has more of a "Mappy" vibe with the visuals of Pacman which I thought was cute and clever. I like how you solved the "how to control multiple enemies" by switching between then. Nicely done
Great work on the art, I like it a lot! It was fun chasing down the mouse, but the character movement did come across as a little clunky at times. Good work!
The concept, the art style and the sound effect are so good! controls need to be perfected a bit, I had some problems moving the mice. Anyway, really good job!
If you think you were controlling mice I have to work on the grafics, those should be actually cats :-P. But I guess you mixed it up in your comment.
No sorry, my English sometimes is bad! Of course they are cats!!!
The concept might be predictable, but you executed the game mechanics pretty well, down to original's ghost AI. The visuals and the sound design also make it really feel like a game you'd see in an arcade, well done!
This game is so adorable, and I absolutely love the retro sound effects in it. It's a fantastic creative idea, and I really enjoy it. well done!
Cute entry! I creative idea executed well with very classic faithful assets. Great work!
Cool game, I do like that Pac Man and the ghosts are replaced with your own original cat and mouse assets which is a great idea. I personally found the player AI to be fairly easy to catch, but I think it worked very well considering it is a jam game implementation. Like others have said, the player movement is a bit weird just because it's not grid-based, but that's just a minor issue I feel. The sprites and music definitely feel like they're straight out of an old arcade game, I think the theming is excellent. Well done!
Also, I think I noticed the orange cat moving away from the mouse at one point, which is how the orange ghost moves in the original game iirc. Really great touch if you based the cat AI on the original game, I can't tell just from this one observation but I think it's impressive attention to detail if you did!
well observed, the cats ai is made similar to the original. The red and orange cats behave as in pacman, i slightly ajusted the the one for the other two cats though. There were more references to the original game planed but we simply run out of time.
Good pixelart! I like the idea of pacman being reversed, didnt see that one before. The controls were a bit janky, but not too big of a problem. Overall a nice experience
Great start, congrats!
This game seems vaguely familiar..... Oh well must be my imagination. This game is a fun romp and nice strategic element and I'm a sucker for good pixel art (if my own game didn't give that away)
omg this is the first time ive seen playing pacman but as the ghosts, I absolutely love this idea. Surprisingly hard as well, and very engaging with a very cute premise of cats chasing a mouse. I can totally see myself playing this a lot more <3
To the subject !
Absolutely love the cat and mouse sprites! The visuals and sounds overall feel like a perfect fit. Our team actually thought about pac-man briefly, but I deemed it too difficult for me to pull off in a weekend--bravo for going for it and doing a good job on the execution!

Great recreation of pac-man with a fun twist! True to the original graphics, but a little less smooth with the gameplay. Well implemented overall, and worth a play for the nostalgia factor! Hope you can clean it up after the jam!

Great work recreating pac man in reverse! The AI was a bit inconsistent; it did half the work for me, and made suboptimal decisions. I also kept getting caught on the corners, and it seems like the mouse did too.
[ + + + + -] :: CREATIVITY
I like how you turned pac man into a game of cat and mouse! You also found the fabled missing slice(s) of pac man! (the cheese JK)
That said, I saw another pac-man recreation that had several other creative elements; such as making unique maze levels, and making it a game of a boar vs a warrior.

You did a great job reviving the aesthetics of the classic game, and with the sound effects and animations. I was never in doubt about what to do, either. Everything was straightforward, and I even had a score to strive for!
If there were more visual/audio elements added to further enhance the experience I might have given it 5 stars. For instance, I played another game that was a role reversal of the google chrome dinosaur game that added color, and additional elements like a meteor, and new obstacles that complimented their game.
I totally agree with everything you said. Thank very much for the detailed, valueable feedback!
A classic twist. loved the change to a mouse in a maze, a great trope that fits so well here.
