I like this idea a lot! I feel like it has a lot of potential for expansion. One thing I would have liked is perhaps some guns I could control with the mouse. I feel like that would make the gameplay a little more engaging

Dang this game needs more love! Really great idea and well executed. Once it got going I was really having a good time and finished it! Which is more than I can say for most of the games I've played in this jam. The variety of turrets was cool and there was a bit of strategy in terms of your positioning which was a nice touch. I think it could have done with some in game tutorial to help you understand a bit more but was really great experience otherwise.

I enjoyed the visuals and the music a lot! i thought the gameplay was fun but i felt helpless being stuck in the centre unable to move and my cannon just stared at the incoming ship. all around though good job!

Nice concept although I feel like I have too little control over the Gimbal

I'm loving this idea, this could be really well improved into a full game, I suggest adding the potential for movement (rockets) and maybe mouse aiming because I felt the autofiring was a little bit inconsistent. I'd love to play a more polished version of this (also zoom out as the station gets bigger and bigger)

Neat idea! Would love to see this expanded with ongodly sized spacestations.

It has a great concept and idea! It was really fun to assembly tiles for building our space station! Sound effects are cool and graphics are neat. Good job! Thank you for this game :D

Good idea. Very juicy. I just feel we had control over more aspects of the game. Because after a while the game just plays itself. The parts being attached and the ship growing in size felt very satisfying though. Maybe expand on this idea in the future. Great job.

Great concept.

At some point (but maybe that's me just being that good at the game) it became a little irrelevant to turn my spaceship around and I just let my cannons attach whereever - it would been nice if they would only shoot straight or something - so you had to juggle between rotating to position new cannons and rotating to align the cannons for them to shoot at the enemies.

After the 30+ tiles, I just kept my spaceship sit still ... the cannons would turn around to shoot and new tiles would float towards me nevertheless. So it was quiet an easy win ^^

But great submission!

Nice and interesting take on the theme. Fun to play and easy to understand. Good job!

I feel like you can extend the game a little bit by adding different types of blocks like shield generators or different types of weapons. I think that the game has good potential to became even better after some post-jam polishing.

The idea is fun and quite entertaining. However, I felt that sometimes there were too many things out of player control. In quite a few tries I just got very big waves of enemy ships and my cannons couldn't deal with them all no matter what. Still I really enjoyed playing it!

Its a space game! What is there NOT to love? Good job!

Glad you enjoyed, very nice space ship  😉👌

Like this idea.

Sometimes cannon aims at nowhere or just rotates without shooting bullet.

Developer

its a "Feature" xd, how i tried to implement it was when something enters its range it rotates to make sure its facing it then check if its on cool down so there will be cases where like multiple enemies getting detect would cause that "Feature" and glad you liked the idea :D

First of all, I didn't plan it to shape like that ahahahha. I enjoy this game though. Music suits the genre, visual is comfortable to the eyes, and the game can make you addicted for a while. Nice one DayHam. Suggestions: fire rate and controlled canon.

I enjoy seeing if players can make art (curious to see if someone was able to make a pp cause I have humor of a child)  give enough tiles and various sadly didn't have enough time to implement it Glad you enjoy my game tho :D

Very fun game, with an endless mode I could see myself spending a lot of time here.

However, there's still a lot of improvement room here, maybe with some power-ups to increase cannons' shooting rate or just to spin faster.

Fun game, tho

I wasnt able to make it scale the diffuclty properly at the time so i was only able to manage what a hard limit thank you so much for playing :D

Really fun and interesting concept.

I feel that the concept wasn't explored to its fullest potential. The fact that the cannons aim automatically lets me just stand still and the game just plays itself. A way of fixing this would be to make cannons only aim in one position. This would make you have to rotate the ship to aim, and to place the cannons on good spots.

Otherwise a really fun idea. Good job.

Oh thats a great idea! althought if i had another day it would have i was doing the best i can to finish, thanks so much for playing :D
