Cool idea for a game! Looks like I need to brush up on some of my color theory! Very original and was fun! Great job! The blobby animations on the slimes were cute as well!

A little finicky, I ended up placing the dye bottles on random parts of the screen (and into the washing machine where it changed the colour of machine instead of the slots!) The game itself was pretty interesting in cute. I think I'd suggest maybe an effect at the beggining that darkens the screen and highlights those little slots to help playes know where the bottles go. Nice game, congrats!
Haha it took me minutes to figure out how to play. I think it is a little misleading that the bottle can color the washer too, I thought I met a bug since my slime didn't change after wash. I also think adding some highlights on the three slots at the beginning of the game would be helpful for players to understand that's where they are targeting to.
I get that you want the player to figure things themselves, but I think that might not fit very well with the time limit, because when there is a counter, the player always gets nervous and want to make things works immediately. I think maybe either:
1. add a tutorial part that does not have a timer, and after the player understands how to play the game, then the timer starts.
or 2. don't have a timer at all, just let the player keep making more matches, and unlock new characters/washer machines to progress the game. this might be too much for a jam game but I think it worth thinking about doing something like this and make it a full game!
Overall a lovely game!
Very cool concept, however as someone with mild colorblindness I found it very difficult to play. The Blues and purples you use are so close in value that there were at least different 3 color mixtures that resulted in what appeared to be the same color as my target slime, but were considered wrong. Other then that very cool.
I loved the pixel art and animations! It took a second for me to realize I had to pour the coloring in the slots on top instead of directly into the washer, but once I figured that out it was really fun! A very cool game, especially as your second ever build!
What a neat little game! You did really well on the aesthetic; excellent art (especially making swirls work in pixel art!), and good use of sound effects. The choice to use CMYK instead of RGB here is very good because that's exactly how printers work! Honestly, all you'd have to do is maybe add a bit more background art and a tutorial, and you'd have a perfect educational minigame for kids ( :
Very cute art style and excellent choice of music! I enjoyed testing my colour wheel knowledge :). I bit extra to the tutorial screen could be helpful, for a while I thought all slots had to be filled for it to work.
Such a cute game! I think it's pretty good for it to be your second ever game, especially in 48 hours. I may not have the artistic eye you have but it was a bit of a challenge to get the first two colors. So I'd say start by creating purple or green early on, or a color that requires each of the bottle colors. Otherwise, it's a fun idea and a good one to play!
Very nice idea and very cute slimes ;). It would be awesome if you could add more colors for a full release, but otherwise very good!
Cute idea and graphics. The slimes are very cute. The color mixing is a bit hard tho, and there's a bug where the bottles were stuck to the washing machine and wouldn't go back on the shelf. Good game and good submission!
Really cute game, and great work on the music very catchy! The slimes are also very adorable. The sounds are also very good and give some nice feedback, hitting that seratonin. One thing is two of the greens are very similar and for me was difficult to tell apart, but that is so minor compared to everything else. Fantastic Job!
Really nice art style - but my slime never changed colour :(
This was wonderful! The slimes are really cute, and the art as a whole has a really distinct style. I got stuck on a certain shade of blue until I realized I had to make it with two colors instead of three, so it required the reset. Who knew washing slimes could be so addicting!
I got 11! took me a few tries to realize I could add a colour twice
More slimes! I like the color mixing, and the fitting "matchmaking" theme. I had trouble with the colors, in particular, there was this really particular blue I couldn't figure out. Guess I'm just bad with color theory! Or maybe just subtractive colors.
Fantastic presentation, love the art style/animations especially for such a short jam! Really fun idea too, I struggled a bit to start but feel like I came out of it understanding CMYK better than I did going in. Plus "joined together" applying to both the colours and the blobs getting together; nice!
