It's cute. I like the idea a lot, but I think the characters could have used a little more power when swinging them. Climbing a wall had to have just the right amount of momentum and it was hard to get is super consistently.
But scaling the walls is cool and the dual control of the characters is implemented well overall.
Cool game!
Overall I think the game looks great and the aesthetic is cute and well polished. Unfortunately I wasn't able to figure out the controls at all. A tutorial and some easy (really easy) starting levels would help a lot. From the screenshot it looks like a lot of fun but my brain just didn't "get it".
This is a very nice game, especially on a jam budget!
Somewhat hard, especially since I had a hard time associating the controls with the characters.
Cute and challenging - I really like the concept!
I played it alone, my brain melted haha! I would suggest an intro less challenging to get use to it.
This is a tricky one! I see we went for similar basic ideas, but ended up with very different games. I really like the polish, especially the audio. Well done!
Great art style! The controls were a bit tricky to get used to but once I kind of figured them out I was able to get a decent way up before falling. Good job!
Very cute little game and I like the mechanical ideas that fit with the theme. The controls were rage inducing though. They felt just exact enough that I couldn't blame the game for being unfair but just loose enough to be super hard to use. Otherwise a great submission. Cheers!
Love the art style! Being able to grab the walls and ceilings and swinging back and forth is super fun. I think the thing that could improve the game the most would be indicating more clearly which inputs control which character, especially since they switch places a lot. Something like making it so the arrow keys always controlled whoever's on the right and vice versa might work. Aside from that, awesome work! Would love to see more of this in the future.
nice game, i totally like the art:)
maybe i didn't understand something but i am not sure why jumps are reversed? (for one it is up arrow and for other it is 's') it was a bit confusing for me
It's really hard to control and also to remember which keys control each character but I really like the concept and the characters are really cute!
The attention to animation details along with the sounds, really add to the amazing feel of the controls! Its challenging but you'd expect that with two things joined together! Loved it!
Really fun concept, being able to climb up walls and along ceilings is really satisfying.
Unfortunately I also found actually trying to control the characters and swing around to be slightly frustrating
Really cool game!
A lot of games going with the 2 characters connected route of the theme, but this one stands out a bit for me with the way the characters interact! Really nice job! :)
A straightforward idea fantastically executed with an art style that really puts it apart. I did struggle a lot on my way upward but the cute characters certainly made up for it. Sometimes the controls could be communicated a tad better (maybe as hovering tooltips over the characters after being idle for a few seconds?) but otherwise I don't have any big complaints. For some reason it did remind me of those old new-grounds type flash games that I used to waste hours on (which is a compliment!). Great job!
Fun game, nice choice in music and wonderful art. fun mechanic as well, although I feel the difficulty could've been scaled a little better. But that might just be me.
