Great game, the art is really well done and the mechanic if fun! nice work
Love the art, concept and gameplay! Well done. It has a great vibe!
Cheers! Appreciate you taking the time to check it out.
@JoshBurleson very good idea, I enjoyed it, very simple and shuttle controls good one :D
Thanks for the kind feedback and so glad you enjoyed the submission. Cheers!
Cool idea! The art is great and the connection between the movement attack and defence is very clever!
Thanks for the kind words. Glad you enjoyed the submission. Cheers!
the controls suck and it's all rng

This was super satisfying to play!! The movement feels great -- I loved dashing around to grab the weapons and health. Really cool concept!
Those are great compliments, thank you! Appreciate you taking the time to play the game and leaving feedback for it. Cheers!
I love the artstyle and the mechanic is brilliant.
I would recommend a more forgiving difficulty curve but I liked it a lot, well done!

Hey thanks for the compliments! Since its a vertical slice of the game it doesn't really have a smooth learning curve as your just kind of dropped in. Something I would fix on expansion of the game for sure. Thanks for checking out the game and leaving a comment. Cheers!
I liked it, reminded me of Mark of the Ninja.
Hope you don’t mind giving me some feedback.
The idea is so good, but it's a bit hard.
Fair enough. During the development you play the game so much it gets hard to judge difficulty on your own. I hope you still got some enjoyment from the graphics and fluid movement. Thanks for playing. Cheers!
This a cool way to interpret the jam theme, very unique concept and surprisingly fun too, I feel like one badass cat :D
I like the art style too! You really feel badass dashing and slashing enemies then hide in the shadows, but I wonder if there should be a limit or delay between them to make it more challenging, I dont know. Regardless, overall great work!
Feeling like a badass is exactly what I was going for so I'm stoked you felt that way. I actually had a time delay like you mentioned but it made things feel worse so I made the delay like 0.5 secs and now it's barely noticeable. For a jam game I figured it best to err on the side of less challenging? Anyways, thanks for the great feedback and taking the time to play the game. Cheers!
nice gameplay
Thank you for playing!
The only criticism would be about including a more robust introduction to the attacking mechanics, although I think that's a common issue in all game jam games due to the time limit. Other than that I was highly impressed with this game. I'm a big fan of ninja-themes and the controls of this game felt great, given the amount of time you had for making it. Great work!
Glad you liked the game overall. Ya, I only had time to put in a few tutorial popups crammed in the last few minutes of the jam. With a project as ambitious as this its hard to find the time for a proper tutorial. Thanks for your feedback and taking the time to checkout my submission. Really appreciated :)
Cute cat and bears! nice dashing attack like a shadow ninja, cool game!
Thanks for testing out the game! I also find the dashing to be fun. Cheers!
Nice game! Controls work very well. The enemy bear's field of view kind of confused me at first, but I got the hang of it eventually.
Thanks for the feedback and taking the time to play my submission. In retrospect and with more time I would've made the bear's FoV wider and change red or something when the player's detected. I'll add it to the "To Do If I Had More Time" pile :P
I didn’t immediately understand how to attack in this game, but I really enjoyed playing it. Also, I really like the art of this game! Please check out my game too :)
Hey thanks for playing! I'll be sure to play and rate yours also :)
Really cool Idea, love the stealth aspect! Visuals and sound are both really nice :) Maybe the theme could fit a bit more but I get how it does in it's current state. Overall really fun! :D
Thanks for taking the time to check it out, Buttercream. Cheers!
The ninja feel is amazing: everything feels fast and snappy, your visibily is always aparent and on top of that the artwork is great. Awesome game :)
Appreciate the kind feedback and glad you enjoyed the game feel. Thanks for playing!
Interesting ninja concept. Art and music are great. But i don't understand yet how i touch the bear or not.
I only briefly touched on the attacking mechanics in the games tutorial so that's an area I should've put more work into. Think of it like a game of pool. When your ninja dashes, angle your aim into picking up and item as they hit the bear. Each item has a twist on this concept. Appreciate your time and feedback!
I see a ninja cat and I click! great thumbnail haha. Very interesting ideas too~ Super neat entry to the jam! Please check out mine when you have time.
Thanks for the kind feedback and taking the time to play my submission. I'll be sure to checks yours out when I sit down to rate games. Cheers!
Art and music and great! The gameplay was a bit confusing, didn't get how to attack properly for a while, guns took me a good bit more to realise that the arrows mean that's where you're going to shoot
I can understand your confusion. The mechanics changed mid jam so I didn't have time to communicate it to the player properly. Props to you for figuring it out on your own. Cheers!
