You know what, the only things that I have to say about this game is a little more veritay, some different ships to control that handle differently perhaps. A multiplayer mode where one controls one ship and the other is controlled by someone else would be a lot of fun too!! Other than that, no complaints here!!
Great game! Really fun, super retro vibe! Really good fun playing! Would love to see more from this in the future, more ships to control and worry about, maybe you can pick up other ships, different engine parts and upgrade current ships to have new maneuver ability types? Awesome job to get this in and working in 48 hours! Great work! :D
I think there's an interesting idea here, but there's an issue I think is detrimental to the game's balance. The idea of making the laser a damageable area incentivizes the player to keep the distance between the two ships as short as possible. Since there's no incentive to keep the ships further apart, it means the best strategy is to keep the ships together, turning it into a more basic dodging game with a more problematic movement system. I think adding some sort of incentive to keep the ships at a distance from each other would help make the game a lot more interesting.
Good idea for a game and as others have mentioned the asteroids at the top are much harder to dodge and could be either slow or have the screen zoomed out. But other than that good game.
Interesting idea.
You can drag the ships completely outside the game, which on the one hand means that if you do it accidentally there's no way to get it back, and on the other hand, means that you can make the game trivially easy just by dragging both ships off the same corner so they're not in the path of the asteroids.
Cool, feels nice!
Nice idea, but I was having some screen size issues. My characters were behind the scenes and there was no way I could get them back. Anyway keep it up!
You can also look at our game too, if you have a time :)
Cool idea, I found it quite addictive! It's fast-paced without feeling too frantic. I did think the asteroids coming from the top of the screen moved a little too fast, so that it sometimes felt impossible to avoid them, but it's still good fun overall.
I like the idea! Certainly got my blood pumping in the beginning figuring out what I was doing.
It's a cool idea for a game! I would have liked a more zoomed out screen to give me more chance to move my ships out of the way though. I like the presentation!
Nice one! I got 187 s at the first try!
Cool game, i like the sounds and the art , i like that i can control both ships only using the mouse
Wow, this is surprisingly very fun! nice original and creative idea, good job! The only issue I had is you can accidentally push the other ship out of the screen's boundary, but overall great work :)
Its a very good GAME, I like the concept very much, I would say to make more KINDS of obstacles.
Overall, it's a very good game :)
Nice job! I like how one ship and push the other ship around, it's a nice mechanic.
Like the idea, the music and the speed of the game. I feel that there should be more reason to spread the ships apart. I spent most of the time with them next to each other. But a lot of fun, and I got 119, which feels pretty high.
It doesn't do much with the theme, but it's fun! Maybe have the laser in between destroy asteroids for extra points or something? Just a thought
Unique Idea!
I like that you have to move two things at the same time to survive. I think it was fun and the graphics are cute. Also it felt very polished first of all because of these graphics and secondly you had time to add these power-ups which gives the game much more life.
The only thing I would adjust are the hit-boxes in general because they are maybe a little to small.
So great work and keep it up :D
This was a really cool concept! I like that you didn't over-explain at the beginning. At one point I accidentally dropped one of my guys off screen and couldn't get him back, but I think some boundaries could fix that easily. Good job!!
